Re: BLUE & WHITE Carnations to HONOR JOE at HOMECOMINGReply

Press on, Wendy. There are obviously sickos on the interwebs who have no interest in the facts or the children. They just make light of the situation to attack Joe and Penn State and think they will shame us into going quiet regarding the truth. We will just ignore them and press on.

Joe = Success With Honor = 409

We Are...Penn State!

:rofl:

More and more national voices just brutalizing The Cult over the "Joe Out." Chi Town Lion not happy, calls the anti Joes "imbeciles." LOL No idea who most of these people even are, but it is amazing how tone deaf The Cult is to national opinion.

Joe Paterno was a criminal, an enabler, and an amoral, despicable human being. Not a victim and sure as hell not a martyr.

I went there and this is disgusting RT @sportingnews: Penn State fans planning "Joe-out" this week to honor Paterno https://t.co/Sou1Xw0St3

Joe Paterno did a lot of good things, masked by the bad, but at this time a "Joe-Out" seems like an ill-timed decision. It's time to move on

Sorry, PSU fans, but there is nothing appropriate about honoring Joe Paterno. Ever. Please stop. Move on.

One good thing that may come of this display will be that it should provide a good measuring stick for what percentage of their fan base actually are the nut cases. If half the stadium is full of "Joes" vs. a scattering that amounts to half of 1% of the people there, that should make it pretty clear.

I'm not so sure about that. Just because a person has realized they probably shouldn't openly display whatever twisted belief they may have in public, that doesn't mean the belief doesn't still exist in the person.

I think the criminals here are the BOT. There was a rumor about Jerry that should have been nipped in the bud. Instead the cowardly BOT fired Spanier and Joe and would not let them put out the fire. The public immediately concluded Joe was guilty or why else would PSU fire him. IMO Jerry is somewhat guilty, but I am not convinced he is the monster everyone thinks he is. However, because of public opinion, Jerry did not get a fair trial.

Todd Brewster has quietly been building up a solid body of work. And oh yeah, he's real and using his real name.

Oh, the public scorn won't change the thinking of a single cultist. The Ped Out will, however, expose the cult and the Penn State culture to a much larger percentage of the country and inform them of what an utterly hoked up place it is.

I do agree that it will be interesting to see how many cultists are stupid enough to display their twisted beliefs for the public to see.
