I really wish I had talent like Tibs or even like Teddy to go in and stir those nuts up without it being immediately detected.

dammit...

It's easy. First, create your character. Maybe you're "WorriedLion", a 1996 PSU graduate who is concerned about the future of the program under and unproven coach with a weak first recruiting class. Act like you're there to have people reassure you that everything will be okay.

Or you could be angry, and accuse anyone and everyone who disagrees with you of being less loyal, no matter what side you pick. It doesn't matter, because you're "TrueBlueNittany", and you alone get to decide what's best for your beloved alma mater.

Finally, you could be the morally superior loyal opposition. You got your doctorate at PSU, and you're embarrassed by these t-shirt rubes who make excuses for all of the failures of the university. Claim to be an ethnic minority of some sort (Indonesian? TIbetian? Be creative.) from Ohio who went to PSU because you would never stoop so lo as to go to Ohio State. Your hatred for idiocy from your fellow Penn Staters is only exceed by your hatred for all things Ohio. Eventually, people will figure out that it's because girls wouldn't talk to you in high school. Either way, it builds your cred and lets you flame away until people figure out your game.

Oh! Another good one. Claim to be a high school kid in PA who plays football and who personally knows a lot of recruits. Talk about what "is being said" about PSU, Urban, OSU, Beef O'Brady, etc. Make up great stories and couch it all with, "Hey, I love Penn State. I'm just telling you guys what's going on out there."

Have fun and post links. PM me if you need help.

Oooooh. If you go this route, you have to make sure to make outlandish predictions about the no-name recruits and their imminent first-round-draftability. NC's and Rose Bowl prediction at least once per year.

I wonder how many REAL nitwit posters are going to get banned after the folks over there read your suggestions and start seeing some parallels.

I am pretty excited for the Buckeyes to pound the ever living shit out of these fucks on the football field. 63-14? Pffft. I won't be happy until the Bucks get to 223-0.

And even then, I'd have em take one more ass-whoppin the next year just for fucking kicks.

AN EDSBS PSA: IDENTITY THEFT CAN HAPPEN TO YOU
Gene J. Puskar - APMore photos ?

dentity theft impacts 8.3 million Americans every year. Hi, I'm Penn State head coach Bill O'Brien… Or am I? Your personal information can be taken from you in a moment of carelessness. Your credit, your finances, and even your reputation can be taken from you in a single act. I'm living proof.
You may know me from my work with the New England Patriots. But you may also know me from the time someone decided to use the personal information I left carelessly unguarded to steal my identity, apply for the Penn State job, and then take the job using my name and a local actor bearing some resemblance to me. This violated my very person, and has threatened my career.
Note: I may be laying low about this in public.

"Tomorrow night, I'll get a fax of our signees. I already have a pretty good idea of who they're going to be. Again, it's really more about the Patriots and making sure we're ready for today's practice, tomorrow's meetings and Sunday's game. So it's day-to-day."
But trust me, this is a surprise to me because I have no idea what these people are asking me about. It is terrifying, since I have done no recruiting for Penn State whatsoever. I haven't even been in State College since I was 23 years old. This is the dream where you show up to school naked for a test you have not studied for, and it is my reality.
I am the offensive coordinator for the New England Patriots, a job of great importance where I help Bill Belichick by preparing him coffee, finding fresh dishrag loincloths to wear around the office, and procuring smokeless tobacco for Coach Belichick while he coaches everything himself. I like this job. I need no other.

Re: Have I Become Cult-ish?

I am so sick of this Cult crap. We make the rest of the college football world uneasy because we do things right, while everyone else does not. Joepa was a moral beacon, not just in football, but in life. He will come to be viewed in the same social and moral light as Gahndi, Martin Luther King and Vince Lombardi.

Yes, because Gandhi and King Jr. covered up for perverts.
