Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

The Big Ten survived for 96 years without Penn State. I think that we'll be alright if they leave.

Penn State's record from 1966 (Joe's first year) to 1992 (last year of independence): 244-62-7, for a .784 winning percentage.

Penn State's record from 1993 (first year in Big Ten) to 2011: 163-72, for a .694 winning percentage.

Perhaps the Lions' relative lack of success in the Big Ten is the reason that so many Pedsters want to leave.

Their record against the Big Ten over that span was 96-56 for an even worse .684 from '93 on.

Broken down by team it looks something like this:

7-12 against Ohio State (.368)
6-10 against Michigan (.375)
6-9 against Iowa (.400)
6-7 against Wisconsin (.462)
8-4 against Minnesota (.667)
13-5 against Michigan State (.722)
12-3 against Illinois (.800)
12-3 against Northwestern (.800)
11-2 against Purdue (.846)
15-0 against Indiana (1.000)

So basically they have a losing record against every team with even a modest championship pulse since they joined the conference, which isn't that surprising considering they have only won three conference titles themselves.

In summary, delusional doesn't even begin to describe the cult that is Penn State fandom.

I don't know what's funnier, the fact that they want to join a basketball conference or the fact that they think anyone would willingly accept that train wreck of a cult.

Not that I think any of them have enough self-awareness to actually admit the underlying reasons, but it's perfectly logical that they'd want to go to the ACC. They want to go back to the good ol' days. They joined a football conference and had their stools pushed in for 20 years. They want to go back to playing one or two tough games a year. Hell, they could maybe even go back to having the fathers of players ref their home games (see 1986).

IF PSU were to leave The B1G it would collapse... utterly collapse.
PSU is the glue holding this conference together. IF PSU were to leave, the ACC would gobble them up in a heartbeat. The SEC wouldn't want anything to do with PSU because their teams would have to travel North into the dreaded snowbelt!

Alabama whooped PedState's ass in HV this past year. How do these 'tards forget something that recent?

To the current BOT members:

If I were you, I'd be very affraid.

Not from physical harm, but when it comes time for each and every one of you who voted for Joepa's firing, come re-election time.

Remember PSU Alumni; YOUR vote counts. Make it count.

Always remember!!! Always!!!!!!
If I come face to face with a current BOT member, please Expect a Punch to the face - including that turncoat traitor Anne Riley
Since Joe was obviously the axis of evil, maybe we should all go out and "neutralize" every media person who says or writes anything negative about him. I mean, that's what would be expected of his disciples right? Since he was so evil?
Are we watching the same BIG show ? If we are , are you ignorant and/or dishonest ? You do realize that allegations are not evidence , correct ? The BIG commentators are acting as if Sandusky is ALREADY convicted ! You do realize that you've only heard the state's charges ? What's your exit strategy if the state does not go 3 for 3 on convictions ? Right now I think the state has only a 50% chance at best of convicting Curley and Schultz ( that's if their cases actually make it to trial ) . What are you going to say if Sandusky is acquited ? Are you going to beg for a " mulligan " ?
Speaking of "mulligans " , tell me , how many grand juries did the Pa. AG's office impanel before they got one that would bring an indictment against Sandusky ? Keep in mind that our grand jury has 23 jurors ( and 7 alternates ) and it only takes 12 out of the 23 to vote for a bill of indictment .Just so I'm clear , I'm sick of stupid f*cks like you coming here and telling us what we should think and say . Get bent ! When you are done with that , why don't you and erniefranco both go crawl off to a corner , sit on your haunches and chew your cuds ?
Gold mine.

I said this a month ago. Audibles is a morning laugh with your coffee Ped Aggy board. BWI is much more serious stuff--rye or scotch neat, late night with a fire going board.

They take retard to 11 over there.

These people are worse than nihilists and must be feared.

Rename University Park........
to Paternoville or Paterno Park. Joe basically put it on the map. It would always remain. A stadium eventually comes down. They re-named a town after Jim Thorpe. It can be done. Also, then they could rename a street after him, or name the field Joe Paterno field. Joe himself didn't think he had to have the stadium named after him. He wanted to be remembered for more than a football facility. Renaming the town after him would ensure his name would appear on maps and atlas' forever.

Anyone with a rivals account want to go over there and suggest Joestown?

These people are a danger to national security. I hope the FBI is watching them. I'm fairly certain multiple manifestos are being drafted in dark basements into the wee hours of each morning. [censored]ing subhuman, sociopathic, lunatics...
