I do not choose to discuss it

Penn State's record from 1966 (Joe's first year) to 1992 (last year of independence): 244-62-7, for a .784 winning percentage.
Penn State's record from 1993 (first year in Big Ten) to 2011: 163-72, for a .694 winning percentage.
Perhaps the Lions' relative lack of success in the Big Ten is the reason that so many Pedsters want to leave.
Their record against the Big Ten over that span was 96-56 for an even worse .684 from '93 on.
Broken down by team it looks something like this:
7-12 against Ohio State (.368)
6-10 against Michigan (.375)
6-9 against Iowa (.400)
6-7 against Wisconsin (.462)
8-4 against Minnesota (.667)
13-5 against Michigan State (.722)
12-3 against Illinois (.800)
12-3 against Northwestern (.800)
11-2 against Purdue (.846)
15-0 against Indiana (1.000)
So basically they have a losing record against every team with even a modest championship pulse since they joined the conference, which isn't that surprising considering they have only won three conference titles themselves.
In summary, delusional doesn't even begin to describe the cult that is Penn State fandom.
