Way to cherry-pick your facts, Bushwood.

I do and I don't want to draw comparison between JoePa and Hitler. Killing 6 million people, I think, is worse than what JoePa did. But I bet that Hitler did something good during his time in power. Not being an historian, I don't know what. But, let's just say that he built 5,000 new hospitals all over Europe. Bushwood is being someone who is saying that we should praise Hitler because he built all those hospitals - totally glossing over the fact that he's personally responsible for the holocaust, as well as WW2.

JoePa may truly have been concerned about improving the students' character - I'm willing to give the cultists the benefit of the doubt on that one. But you can't just praise him based on that crap. You need to remember that by keeping quiet EVERY MOTHER EFFIN DAY for over a decade, he put his football team above those victims (or whatever you want to call them. Beat Nebraska).

I like how they don't follow the advice he allegedly gave them either.
Supposedly he told them to go home and do something with their lives... so they got on the computer and threw a temper tantrum.

You're right. I would have excused an obligatory nod to Paterno at his press conference, but he's gone and continues to go out of his way to bond with the cult......to show them that he is one of them.

I think he'll be much more easy to truly loathe and hate than O'Brien ever was.
