Let's not be too naive to think it couldn't happen.....
No shit.
If there were a pool bet on "next B1G coach to be caught doing something extraordinarily sick and twisted" I know which square my money is going on.

Re: wheres the riot?Reply
It's time to march on old main and get the feds involved. A university and great man have been tarnished by a bunch of lying cowards that claim to be one of us but are no such thing. Their is a major cover up going on and it has nothing to do with Penn State football or JoePa.

Frank Fina Breaks PA Rules of ConductReply
This is just another factor that PROVES that someone in PA government and PA courts is ENGINEERING a PR-based campaign designed to destroy the PSU brand and abridge basic rights guaranteed by our Legal Justice system. At this time, the evidence is OVERWHELMING in support of this suspicion.
By now we must all realize that something is VERY WRONG with almost ALL PA handling in the Sandusky case - from fundamental errors, lies and perjury used to supported the original GJ presentment documents, to inappropriate and, in my mind, "illegal" comments by Frank Noonan, to continuous "leaks" to the media - as well as continuously and very carefully engineered mis-statements of facts by PA officials. You can not mathematically support these events as being anything but ENGINEERED abuses of public office. - if not CRIMES UNTO THEMSELVES.
I believe it is not random chance that our own BOT has behaved the way they have. It should not be forgotten that there is a CLOSE personal connection to PSU BOT and the "situation active (or inactive)" members of the BOT. REMEMBER...it was Tom Corbett that "recommended" PSU use Louis Freeh to conduct his "independent" investigation. Look at the body of work he provided for over $8M- it was nothing but a FANTASY based on biased interview methodologies, lies on data work efforts and a conclusion that reported an opinion based only on a factually unsupportable "worst case".
This latest detail uncovered by Eileen Morgan is just another action that correctly exposes a new brick in the "negative PSU Press" wall that this well engineered PR campaign has created.
We can no longer classify these kinds of "inappropriate actions" as random chance or misguided mistakes. SOMETHING MUST BE DONE TO STOP THESE EFFECTIVELY CRIMINAL ACTS. A legally-based, independent DETAILED investigation into all the State and BOT "actors" in the Sandusky case MUST be started AND FULLY PROMOTED IN THE MEDIA immediately.
Too many basic legal and moral rights have already been violated.

Even ignoring the spelling and grammer issues here, this absolutely amazing. Are they now turning on the students as well?

Anybody here fluent in whatever language this is (Pedsterian perhaps?) care to translate this?
So did I for the first few times I read it....I initially read that as con-visitation.
I think it's a real shame that SO many people know the truth, and yet so many more are blinded by jealousy. EVERY SINGLE PENN STATE FAN knows that Penn State didn't do anything wrong. EVERY SINGLE PENN STATE FAN knows that Paterno didn't do anything wrong. I'm a little curious about how they know this though. Did Paterno have webcams up in his office going back to 1998 and earlier? If so, that would answer a lot. Of course, there wouldn't be a single moment of the day that wouldn't be monitored by the cult, so they'd know if Paterno or the rest of the university (ha! Like there is a "rest of the university" outside of St. JoePa) was doing something he shouldn't have. Hm - but that brings up another point: anything that St. JoePa was doing is something that he SHOULD have been doing. So, by that argument, he COULDN'T have done anything wrong. And, as I stated a bit ago, since the university and St. JoePa were one and the same, the university couldn't have done anything wrong either.
Oooh - Kool-Aid!!!
The independent monitor for Penn State’s sports program gave the school what amounts to straight A’s for its work so far to comply with the terms of an Athletics Integrity Agreement entered into as part of the Jerry Sandusky sanctions.

Former Sen. George Mitchell, in his first-year wrap-up issued Friday, said "Penn State has demonstrated its commitment to fulfilling the requirements of the AIA and to implementing the governance recommendations made in the Freeh Report.
"The amount of resources, time and energy devoted to these efforts has been notable. We have been impressed by the professionalism of those leading this undertaking."
But he also cautioned more work lies ahead in areas like upgrading security measures at certain campus facilities; assigning records retention duties to units across the university, and even in ensuring that "culture" problems that some say allowed the Sandusky scandal to deepen are corrected at Penn State.[My emphasis]
"While much has been accomplished, important work remains to be done," Mitchell, a former U.S. Senate majority leader, wrote.
"Penn State must maintain its focus on these ongoing initiatives while also fostering an environment in which its many undertakings will take root and thrive. By all indications thus far, the university has positioned itself well to meet this challenge," he concluded.
Mitchell did not respond to requests from PennLive this week for an interview about his work.
To many, his report will be disappointing for what it did not say.
At no point in Friday's report, did he suggest the time is right for Penn State to seek a relaxation of the any of the penalties imposed on the football program by the NCAA last year.
Mitchell is believed to have that authority, and a recommendation for "parole" from scholarship reductions or bans on post-season play would likely carry a lot of weight with NCAA leadership.
Even so, Penn State's leaders expressed satisfaction with his findings.
