Mike McQueary has more ethics, is more a "hero" than any of the cult will ever be, and they crucified him! And the administration hung him out dry. Even Paterno, acting like a mob boss, gave him a job to keep him quiet. Does the term "morally bankrupt" sound like a good description of these people?

Don't go crazy now...McQueary is a piece of shit. He's just as morally bankrupt as the other's involved in the cover up.

That monster walked away and let a child continue to be raped while he pondered what to do next. When it was clear the school wasn't serious about it, rather than bringing it to the authorities himself or even threatening to do so, he accepted a "shush" job and continued to watch a child rapist wander the facilities for years afterward without saying a word.

Has anyone ever thought about McQueary's dad in all this?

I mean I have had to make some fucked up phone calls home when I was a kid and as a parent now I fully expect my fair share as repayment but I'll be damned if I could comprehend hearing something like "hey dad, umm there's this old man in the shower and he's kind of like fucking a little boy in the ass. What should I do?"

I would have given a lot of money to catch the look of stunned disbelief on his face. "WTF/did he just say fucking a little boy?/in the ass? in a shower? Why isn't he killing this old bastard? Why is he on the phone with me? Where did I go wrong? It's his mothers fault. Where is that bitch?.etc etc"....all went through that poor bastards head in a millisecond. The look on his face would have been priceless.

His son played and coached for Joe Paterno. I would bet a lot of money that his first thought was "Oh no, how do we protect Joe."
