cant believe how we (psu) is now perceived by people (long)Reply

i just got back from a fishing trip in montana. of course im sporting a psu hat and have my psu plates on my truck. talking to other fisherman at the parking lot, i got a lot of penn state huh?, how many kids did that paterno rape......and if they did know it was sandusky, they tried to tell me sandusky jokes..it was unreal, i was pretty pissed off. im 2000 miles from home and im hearing this nonsense...its amazing how little people know. and the balls on these people cause im not the smallest guy in the world.. everyone of them had no prob coming up to me and saying something bout psu...

the guys next to us at our campsite were from minnesota, and reasonable nice guys, asked me to explain the situation to them since i said what they heard was almost all bullshit. after i explained the truth to them, 1 they couldnt believe what media reported, and 2 they thought we took a royal screwing.

other set of guys at camp were from nebraska, and while they didnt know the entire truth, they thought the ncaa overstepped their bounds.

we stopped at mt rushmore on the way home, and the looks i got and comments i heard was unreal to me. i felt like a damn mutant or something....

i concluded that big ten country gets it, the rest of country does not....8/25 9:47 PM | IP: Logged

The only thing Big Ten country understands more than the rest of the world is what delusional morons Penn State cultists are. Everyone knows to just nod your head and smile without engaging in any way when you encounter a cultist. It's standard operating procedure in the Midwest.

If that isn't a description of two Minnesota fans mocking what a delusional moron this guy is, I don't know what is. The fact that he doesn't even realize that this is what the Minnesota fans were doing to him is remarkable.

My reply to all the assholes in that thread: How the fuck does it feel? Welcome to the world of any fan of any team other than Penn State who has the misfortune of being in Pennsylvania....especially Ohio State.

Karma's a bitch you assholes.

edit:
these people werent friends, just people that i met while fishing, and at the campsite i was staying at...again, very shocked by the situation...locally, would get my balls busted by friends who r nd fans, but when out of state, having strangers say comments to me was frustrating....mind u, im in montana trying to relax, not hear comments from these people
Ha! This is too much. I wish every one of these cretins could go back in time to 2005 and wear an Ohio State shirt and just walk around campus that day. Or just wear anything Ohio State and just walk around a random town in PA prior to this whole Sandusky shit.

"Ohio State, huh? I don't know if I'm allowed to let you in here...you don't got any tattoos do ya? HUH HUH HUH HUH".

Fucking dickheads.

Every time I have encountered a person like that he quickly realized I was going to challenge his opinion with equal ignorance and was prepared to kick his ass. I am not taking any shit and any fool who thinks they can get away with that kind of behavior is dead wrong. The media may think they can say anything they want with impunity, but in a civil society freedom of speech only protects non-threatening, non-racist, non-sexist and non-hurtful comments. Amazingly, the kind of person who says things like that are usually unprepared for someone who is willing to get into an exchange of opinion and usually do not deal with it well, especially since I make it an embarrassing experience for them, exposing their ignorance or intolerance. Keep it clean and respectful. Everything else you say you say at your own risk. Since I pack a .45 and can in every state besides NY, NJ and MD I am not really concerned about your displeasure upon my expressing my opinion about you. Walk away or.... In a world where two black punks will beat a WWII vet and local hero to death for nothing speaks to the need for protection and risk of just being near these people, these monsters, let alone having and expressing an ignorant opinion. The growing and pervasive trend of people feeling entitled to say anything they want just illustrates the unraveling of our society and the complete lack of respect people have for anyone other than themselves. This behavior is unacceptable in the society in which I grew up and to Penn Staters in general I would bet. The experience mahatango1 had to endure very clearly reminds us Penn Staters just how superior our culture really is. Penn Staters aren't perfect either. I once had a friend, ex-cheerleader, thrown out of a seat I gave them for their constant cursing at the last Notre Dame game. There was no way I was going to subject the children within ear shot of this person to hear what they were saying.

I love this guy. He's ready to pull his fucking piece out on the lanes if anyone says the wrong thing about Ped Aggy and JoePed, yet at the same time, also talks about their superior culture.

Unfortunately, their coach and team are just good enough to give them hope and keep the delusions going. It is very possible that the NCAA, like a judge, will revisit the sanctions and make some less harsh. The NCAA may be feeling pressure to soften the sanctions.

Yeah, I'm sure the recent news of several young guys receiving millions of dollars in settlements for being sexually abused by Sandusky has really made the NCAA wish they hadn't hit Penn State so hard.

"Every time I have encountered a person like that he quickly realized I was going to challenge his opinion with equal ignorance." I have little doubt . . . He reminds me of the paranoid dude in "Highlander" who tries to gun down the Kurgan and then gets impaled.

Well, this is interdasting.

http://www.post-gazette.com/stories...su-fencing-coach-speaks-out-on-firing-700952/

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The son of legendary Penn State fencing coach Emmanuil Kaidanov is questioning the recent firing of his father and said the family has plans to protest his dismissal.

Kaidanov, who won 12 NCAA championships and coached the Penn State fencing teams for 30 years, was fired last week, a development first reported by TheFencingCoach.com on August 24.

Greg Kaidanov said in a phone interview that his father was ordered to attend a meeting early last week at which athletic director Dave Joyner and athletics integrity officer Julie Del Giorno, among others, were present. Greg Kaidanov said his father was told he was fired and was given a copy of the university policy he had violated, AD 67. According to Penn State's policy manual, AD 67 was enacted in June 2010 and encompasses the protection from retaliation of individuals who report wrongful conduct.

Greg Kaidanov said his father was accused of retaliation against an administrative assistant relating to an incident that occurred in February. In February, Greg Kaidanov said, an administrative assistant in Emmanuil Kaidanov's office reported that a fencer was either possessing or smoking marijuana. Greg Kaidanov said his father confronted the assistant and told her that she should have first reported the incident to him and that he would then report to the administration.
