Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

FOOD FIGHT ON PAGE 656!

In other news, I wonder if any of the MackDaddy - Michael.Felli crowd see a difference between A) a school president making wise cracks about Catholics and a coach/administrator/founding father/Saint ignoring and then covering up child molestation in HIS program, and B) the way matters were handled at the two schools.

I love it. The only way this could be better is if the opinion ended with the following: "If the plaintiffs really have suffered injury, they are free to bring suit against the party which actually caused the injury, namely the Pennsylvania State University, which voluntarily entered into the consent decree."

Tom McAndrew, everybody. He got the decision in an email.....but can't post it because it's a PDF file. If only there was a way to network computers together so files could be shared. Maybe some day, Tom. Maybe some day.

"Pennsylvanians think Gov. Tom Corbett fumbled the Sandusky probe," said Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute.

Reminds me of the Faculty Council vote to deny the Bucks going to the 1962 Rose Bowl. We marched from 14th and High to Capitol Square in the hope that Rhodes would over rule the University. Turns out that a gov has very little direct jurisdiction over a state university.

kudos to Bucks07

Holy fuck these people are idiots. In a thread discussing the NCAA's reaction to Corbett's suit being tossed, one brilliant cult member posted this:
Despite this arrogant statement, is relaxing of sanctions coming?
It speaks well of "Penn State's" wanting to move forward, as well as working with Senator Mitchell. It kind of smells like a deal is in the works to me.
Yes you clown. The NCAA coming out and saying "nice try....now get back in your hole" can totally be interpreted as a relaxing of the sanctions is coming. You figured it out.
