And for anyone who believes that the madness is confined to BWI or a few football obsessed t-shirt alumni, I present the following. The alumni marched in lockstep and elected the entire "Paterno family endorsed" slate of trustee candidates.

"Those BOT (Board of Trustees) elections remind me of Denzel in the movie Man on Fire patiently picking them off one by one. Good day for PSU."

Still. That's out of 30+ candidates and quite telling in itself for a retired school teacher, totally unqualified to sit on a major university board and running on a platform of 409! FACTS! EVIDENTS!

Yeah, this clown is a complete kool-aid drinking Paterno cultist, so I wonder why he didn't get an endorsement from the Paternos and Franco. I have to wonder if the deciding factor was the result of the rally turning into a dumpster fire courtesy of moi.

They had a Power Point with annual revenue statistics (dollars) and testimonials from local business owners when they asked for leniency from the NCAA, in regards to not receiving the Death Penalty.

And when they didn't receive the Death Penalty, members of their Board of Trustees and 98 percent of their fans still argued it was too much.

Penn State QB Steven Bench to transfer
In a stunning bit of spring news, Penn State announced Wednesday that sophomore quarterback Steven Bench is transferring.

It's a shocking development since Bench was competing for the starting job and entered spring practice with the upper hand on the position as the Nittany Lions' only returning scholarship quarterback. No reason was given for Bench's decision.

Soon after the announcement, Bench tweeted: "I've decided to leave Penn State and go to a school that will give me the opportunity to compete for the QB spot and reach my full potential."

"I have been meeting with all the players this week with my evaluation of where they are at related to football and academics and to discuss what they need to work on this summer," Penn State coach Bill O'Brien said in a statement released by the school. "After meeting with Steven, he informed me he wants to play elsewhere. We want what is best for Steven. I want to thank him for his contributions to the program. We wish Steven the best in the future and will assist him anyway we can."
