Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

PedState had 17 in their 2013 class. Per Scout, they had two 5-stars, two 4-stars, eight 3-stars, and five 2-stars, and were ranked 45th.

And all of those 4 and 5 stars committed by March of 2012 (Issah decommitted and came back). That's almost a year without a new 4 or 5 star.

Yet we (Nebraska) had zero 5 stars, nine 4 stars, and 16 three stars - and were ranked 11th, LOL

EDIT: Here's their math:

Scout's Team Rankings Logic

Team Rankings are a math formula that based on a player's rating and his rankings. 5-Star is a rating, No. 1 quarterback is his ranking.

5 Star = 200 points
4 Star = 120 points
3 Star = 40 points
2 Star = 20 points

The No. 1 player at a position is worth 100 points, counting down to the last ranked player at his position to 0.

For Example, assuming Scout ranks 100 quarterbacks.

5-Star, No. 1 QB = 300 points
4-Star, No. 10 QB = 210 points
3-Star, No. 50 QB = 90 points
2-Star, No. 75 QB = 45 points

The Team Rankings are compiled of the Top 25 players per class. Some teams will over-sign, but only 25 count towards the Team Rankings.

Heard tonight on WYSP in PHL that the Paterno family will release a 180 page report to refute Freeh on Sunday.

So let me get this straight... a lawyer and his team, that the Paterno family paid an ungodly amount of money to, is going to produce a report that refutes the findings that JoePa was a scumbag???

Oh yes, the cult is simply salivating over the demise of the NCAA that this report and Corbett's lawsuit will cause!

The hypocrisy in that thread is hilarious. This one's my favorite:

Re: Paterno Family Releasing 180-page counter to Freeh Report on Sunday (OT Reply
Ok so here's my concerns about the Paterno report. First, since they have Joe's notes they are at least 1 up on Freeh who never seriously talked to the actual 5 people involved in the incident. However, I assume Curley, Spanny, Schultz have not talked under advice from their attorneys. Second, I'm sure Rodney and the BoT did not open all records and give complete access to the Paterno group that they did to Freeh. So if there is exculpatory evidence that Freeh omitted- no one will ever know. They can attack Freeh's statements in his report but they don't have the benefit of access to PSU's database to find any clearing info. Finally, watch the espn and journalist reaction to this report. They will challenge and attempt to debunk everything. They will read it trying to find 1 thing wrong to throw out the whole report. Compare that to Freeh where they blindly accepted everything and to this day have not read it cover to cover.
