IgnoreWhat is sexual nature?ReplySeems to me it could mean several things. It could be JS's genitals coming into contact with a boy while horsing around or holding a kid up closer to the shower head. It could also mean oral sex or rape. Big difference! Joe said that MM told him about something sexual in nature but what does that mean?

Here's Joe's statement:

"As my grand jury testimony stated," Joe Paterno said in the statement,
"I was informed in 2002 by an assistant coach that he had witnessed an
incident in the shower of our locker room facility. It was obvious that
the witness was distraught over what he saw, but he at no time related
to me the very specific actions contained in the Grand Jury report.
Regardless, it was clear that the witness saw something inappropriate
involving Mr. Sandusky. As Coach Sandusky was retired from our coaching
staff at that time, I referred the matter to university
administrators."

All we know for sure is that MM told Joe that he saw something that the thought was inappropriate. Anything more than that is speculation.

IgnoreRe: As we prepare to play the Illini, remember this--Reply I obtained my Ph.D. from Illinois. Since then, I've been to six Illinois-Penn State games. At each game, I wore a Penn State jersey and wanted Penn State to win, but I also wore an Illinois cap out of respect. Not this year. I'm going to Champaign this weekend, and all my Illinois gear is staying home. I haven't worn Illinois gear since the Illini coaching staff showed up in State College in July.
