Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

Alright, at first I thought O'brien wasnt that stupid but damn this guy really does suck.

He put a linebacker, on punt return. That alone had me laughing.

Congrats ohio, you were america's team for saturday

Next week that honor goes to virginia. Whoever plays penn state will everyone's 2nd favorite team (although its kind of tough for me, if scUM vs PSU to happen. Who do i root for?)

11-1. Just wait! You'll see!

This site has been my entertainment since I have yet to receive my household goods which means no tv and no cable/internet. Thank you BP. I might have to man up and donate a buck or two.

Why are these folks callously harming the innocent?

No moment of silence for JVPReply

This was the last straw for me. Regardless of their PR interests, the man's memory deserved a MOS. I will never forgive my University for this insensitivity and callousness. I'm done for any contributions whatsoever and hope my son decides to attend a different school.
I never thought it could happen, but I am ashamed to be a Penn Stater.

Aren't many of these same folks bemoaning how the NCAA is penalizing innocent football players?

I keep thinking about how Buckeye fans reacted to Woody getting fired. He hit a player, who taunted him, in the helmet. Baumann was laughing at him after the punch. But it was wrong and people accepted it. He had shown his temper before, ripping up yard markers and the like, but that ineffectual punch was the end of his career. And no one loved any coach more than Buckeye fans loved Woody.

Compare that to the way these folks openly deny the horrors that JoePa ignored. How incedibly sad. How incredibly shameful. As my kids say, PSU fans, get a life!

I thought Navy would give them a run, but that putrid offensive performance vs. ND has made me rethink my position. Temple lost a lot from last year's team, and they don't have the passing attack to exploit PSU's defensive weakness, so there's another possibility for a win. They can beat IU, too, but that game is far enough off that PSU may have thrown in the towel at that point. I see no one else on their schedule that they can beat without it being a considerable upset.

Still, three wins should do wonders for their program - especially since that may represent the high point for the next few years.

I'm interested to see how demoralizing the Fredo loss was for them

they came out "fired up" then laid an absolute stinker in the 2nd half (0 points scored 21 allowed)

the towel may be thrown in after next week if the 2nd half play against Fredo parlays into the UVA game

The man gave them fourteen years of silence, and they wouldn't even give fourteen seconds back. :shake:
