What were we jealous of? Their 3 Big Ten titles in 19 years? All of their BCS Bowl games/wins? Their ~.550 win percentage against Big Ten teams?

I know this has been discussed on this thread before, but I enjoy their stance. "You guys only hate us because you're jealous of us."

Which is a valid stance if you are the New York Yankees or the Ohio State Buckeyes. With them, not so much.

The Penn State faithful are a cult no doubt about it, but they are on the bad end of the cult scale thanks to their grotesque mixture of East Coast/Philly guido faux machismo mixed with their hillbilly middle-of-nowhere Deliverance-style creepiness.

See, this is where the disconnect with reality is with these idiots. They spout "you're jealous that is why you hate!", when the real reason is we hate because those arrogant sons of bitches threw St Joe in everybody's face for years. It is not jealousy at all, it is us sitting back and watching them try to cling to a fallen hero for dear life only to be drug down in to the pit with their hero's now tarnished image.

There should be a lesson learned here, but they have probably already commissioned a new statue of BOB and will be bowing at his feet in no time. They are a cult, and like most cults they think everyone is jealous of their self-perceived superiority over others.

Pride comes before the fall.

well since the conference has had refs cheating to lose them games since 94, it goes without saying that if the playing field was level they would have a .950 winning percentage and probably won all but 1 or 2 league titles....

Joepa is the best coach ever to grace the Big Ten, and they are the best educational experience one can get in the conference.

Sadly the first paragraph I pretended to be a pedstate backer, while the 2nd paragraph is there actual belief.

I just followed up on a past accusation by the public/media Reply

I spoke with a good friend who was a trainer within the athletic department. He contends that he NEVER saw Jerry Sandusky on campus with a kid. NEVER. He never saw Jerry at a football practice.. EVER.. In fact, he went so far as to say that in the last 13 years Joe Paterno never saw Jerry Sandusky himself on campus. I find it amazing that there is this perception that Sandusky was bringing kids to practice and walking around the facilities.


I had mentioned in the past, I personally NEVER saw Jerry Sandusky in the stadium around game days. I asked several former players if they saw him around the Lettermans Suite in the stadium. NEVER. In the Lettermans parking lot with former players? NEVER..


So I do not know where all of this is coming from...
