That seems a tad high for a career.Muck;2183577; said:What is the Nebraska career passing record?

In the process of leading the Husker offense Ganz, set Nebraska season records for with 3,568 passing yards and 3,826 yards of total offense. Ganz was extremely accurate throughout the season, completing 67.9 percent of his passes and set NU?s record for season completions and percentage.
He has also shattered the Nebraska career record for accuracy by completing nearly 66 percent of his 549 career pass attempts. He threw for 25 touchdown passes in 2008, the second-most in NU history and his 45 career touchdown passes also rank second in the Nebraska record book.
Had a good argument with Andy Staples. His stance is that the sanctions were unjust because players are being punished. I argued back that these were organizational misdeeds that deserved organizational punishment. It's the nature of organizational sanctions that people who weren't part of what took place might be affected by it.

Maybe Mr. Staples' argument would have been undercut had you reminded him that the PSU players are free to transfer without sitting a year, and even don't count against a school's limit. What kid is being punished when he's got a free pass to move on?jlb1705;2183586; said:Bringing this back on topic a bit, I just got caught up on my twitter feed. It's the nature of organizational sanctions that people who weren't part of what took place might be affected by it. I think the NCAA did what they could to mitigate that. I don't think punishing just individuals would have been sufficient in this case, because the people involved were acting in concert for the benefit of the organization. I dropped it when he asserted that collateral damage should be avoided at all costs. It is impossible to sanction organizations without collateral damage, yet it is necessary to enforce rules the govern organizations just as you would enforce rules that govern individuals.
Also EDSBS has been out of their depth. They are good at herp derping and making fun of hillbillies and midwesterners, but they are tone deaf when it comes to serious business.
