If these are the kinds of thinkers and citizens that they are CULTivating, then the institution serves no purpose. It is counter-productive to our society.

It is and it goes far beyond just Ped State. The entire area of Central Pennsylshithole thinks, literally THINKS they are superior to everyone else. When I was moving away from there I was told that other places weren't going to be as pristine/awesome/accepting ( )/etc as where we lived was. I haven't missed it for one second.

Have you no compassion? What about the people who will lose their livelihood if Penn State doesn't play football? What about THEIR children? We don't care about the football. Spare the waitresses and parking lot attendants, the ice cream scoopers and hotel staff. Have you no shame?

Freeh's made up fantasies would not be admissible in court, because they are not evidence. Freeh's comments dishonestly changed the wording that was in the evidence to change the meaning and intentionally manipulate the ignorant, like you.

Decent people have supported for decades, the brave sheriff who stood outside the jail house, opposing the irrational, hate-filled Lynch Mob Hysteria. You irrational lynch mob types who are opposing Due Process, who are opposing proper review of evidence, who are opposing proper defense representation and who are opposing the rule of law are a major problem in this country.

Decent people need to oppose your kind of ignorant, lynch mob tactics, against innocent people, in predatory fashion, not unlike Jerry Sandusky also dishonestly preyed upon the innocent.

Penn State President Rodney Erickson said Tuesday he doesn't want to "jump to conclusions" about possible sanctions after the head of the NCAA declared the so-called death penalty has not been ruled out.

I can't find a single active thread on either board that is not filled with self-righteous anger and vindictiveness. Part of that I am sure comes from reasonable posters just giving up. But the rest are just feeding off one another. Reminds me a tribe of warriors from an old B-movie working themselves into a frenzy before an attack.
