You can't teach those kind of coaching chops. You either have it or you don't.

This is on paper our hardest game of the season, but maybe I’m in the minority, but without fans I’m not really all that worried about the Pedsters. What makes this game so difficult in Happy Valley is the fans and the white out atmosphere. I
The stadium is deafening in a sea of white. Take that away and it’s straight talent vs talent and I just see OSU beating them soundly. And if that happens then you’re looking at arguably the most talented team in the country that is also one of the hungriest

I am glad he left us for the pros. He is a decent coach but he gets caught up in his emotions some times and makes boned headed calls.

LOL. I'd take him back in a heartbeat. We certainly would not be on our 4th offense in 7 years. When was the last time you heard another coach tell the media that they were out coached by CJF?? Never.

I am glad he left Coach Franklin is a huge upgrade.

Seriously...plus, we get another day of clueless announcers bashing a coach for scoring a TD after being down 15 and going for two, since you “have to make it a one score game”. As I’ve said before, if you made a Venn diagram of those that can coach/announce football with those that understand the math, you’d have about 5 people on earth that overlap (and that’s being generous).

The way I read that, only 5 football coaches or announcers in the world can do math?

I'd like to know what announcers bashed him for going for 2 after scoring a TD down 15....and what the actual circumstances were. Was it the 1st quarter and somebody just said, "I don't know if I'd chase the points here"? Was there 1 second left and the 2 point try was pointless? Did none of it ever happen?
