Then we’ll do a story on the unabomber that leads up to before he decides to kill people. Then we’ll show the world the whitewashed version of him that we’re all brainwashed to love. There are numerous threads over on BWI right now in which the Cult is collectively losing their shit over the Joesus movie, but the linked thread is one of my current personal favorites. Entitled simply "What Joe Deserves...," the original poster details that Joesus deserves a movie that preaches the same lies and bullshit that got the great pedophile enabler fired in the first place. I am actually unfamiliar with the reference to returning pencils that belonged to the university. I am guessing what happened there is that Joesus accidentally left his office one day with a pencil that belonged to the university and he decided to donate a couple hundred grand to the school as a sign of his unmatched integrity.

#1 Nittany in VA: "What we need is a 90 minute to 2 hour documentary that covers everything the guy did right from 1950 to 2011. From the family stories of salad bar stealing to returning university pencils to the FBI investigation in the late 70s and his concern for former players to the handling of guys like Enis and Engram. There are 100 other stories that need to be detailed for the public to see.
That is what we need. Joe deserves that much."

Ted was another man who was railroaded by Louis Freeh and the cowardly BOT!
So I venture over to BWI to wade through some of the Cult's outrage about the Joesus movie. and I stumble upon a new story about Joesus' saintly nature. In all my readings of BWI, I never knew about Joesus' children being threatened with death and Joesus inquiring to his staff as to whether or not the anonymous letter writer could be the father a former player who needed their help. I'm guessing Jerry was too busy to look into the status of former PSU players.
marshall23: "As many of you know, back in the 70's Joe received correspondence demanding he step down before the last two games of the season. The letter indicated it was a "heartbroken father" of a former player. (Too early to be Surma). The threat stated that one of his children(JVP) would be killed if he did not comply. The FBI was involved, the author was never apprehended and likely was a gambler or something.
Regardless, even though the letter threatened the life of his children.....Joe met with staff and asked them all to research and see if there was a former player who might be in dire straights and needed his help.
That ladies and gentleman, is Joe Paterno."

Shockingly, the Cult has also taken to harassing actor Greg Grunberg (he plays Scott Paterno in the movie) on Twitter. The Cult also has a problem with Sara Ganim being portrayed as a hero instead of a whore and victim (or whatever you call him) Aaron Fisher being made to look sympathetic. The Cult also encouraged each other to sign up for HBO, then tell their cable sompany they want to cancel HBO because of the network's hit job on Joesus.
It seems as though generalizations, assumptions and drawn conclusions can only be used when extolling the positive aspects of Joesus' life. Anything that can be remotely reflect poorly upon Joesus' legacy may only be considered if there is notarized, documented proof available - and even then it will likely be dismissed as false by the cult.
There are no longer any lepers in happy valley. Coincidence? That, ladies and gentlemen, is Joe Paterno.

is there a telephone line between heaven and hell, maybe a telegraph?Joe Pa and Mother Teresa got into a heated exchange over which of them helped the most poor children. When it became apparent he was losing the argument Joe quickly pointed out that he won a helluva lot more football games than her.
