Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

I didn't see much whining about officials on BWI either. There were some whines about holds not being called, but that can be said about more than half of all plays in a majority of the games, regardless of which teams are playing. I want to see something a lot better. Maybe 2014 has me with unrealistic expectations.

Their misery makes me a tad tumescent.

Yes, I think the 21 for 44 night (with 20 carries for 8 yards and 1 carry for 36 yards) will put Barkley over the top in the Heisman race.

Saquon just didn't want to get drafted by the Browns.
But jokes on him - Browns scouts have never watched an Ohio State game. He's still gonna be a Brown.

For the first time in my existence, I can't find any whining about the refs in an Ohio State/Penn State game on BWI. I can't fathom why that is.

I posted some screenshots from BWI calling it rigged, complaining about hold calls, etc. on previous page.
When in doubt, you'll always find the most crazy there

in fairness to the pedos....

2004 Columbus Ohio State 37–21
2005 Ann Arbor Ohio State (#9) 25–21
2006 Columbus Ohio State (#1) 42–39
2007 Ann Arbor Ohio State (#7) 14–3
2008 Columbus Ohio State (#10) 42–7
2009 Ann Arbor Ohio State (#9) 21–10
2010[1] Columbus Ohio State (#12) 37–7

2011 Ann Arbor(<--whore) Michigan (#15) 40–34
2012 Columbus Ohio State (#4) 26–21
2013 Ann Arbor Ohio State (#3) 42–41
2014 Columbus Ohio State (#6) 42–28
2015 Ann Arbor Ohio State (#8) 42–13
2016 Columbus Ohio State (#2) 30–27 2OT

We've got a very long history with scUM though. PSU didn't beat the Buckeyes when the stadium was built. PSU wasn't kicked out of the B10 100 years ago. PSU didn't go over a decade with us swapping the majority of B10 titles - they've won the Conference just 4 times since '93... and '16 was the first in 10 years.
The University of Chicago has more B10 titles. In that timeframe, Wisconsin has won it 6 times. Sparty has won 3 in the last decade.

I grew up with Cooper. I didn't give a shit either way about JoePa until 2011...
Penn State doesn't have the history. They're just a "division rival", same as everyone else in the division.

Their history is with Pitt. In conference, their most evenly contested foe is Sparty (15-15-1)

I think they've been broken and their delusional mutancy will soon take some bizarre new direction that has not yet revealed itself.

Just my .02

This. The cult usually has a moment t of clarity immediately after something bad happens to them. Within a couple of days, however, the self-serving and self-pitying narrative will emerge and be reinforced in the echo chamber until it's taken for gospel.

Now that I think of it, I saw something about how McSorely got hit 3 times after he threw that last pass. The first should not have been called a penalty, the second I guess probably should have, and the third definitely should have been called. I'm going to look for a replay that shows it. The 45-minute version of the game on Youtube follows the ball and doesn't show the quarterback getting hit. Then when it goes back to show his reaction, he's already standing. So if he got hit (again, I haven't seen a replay that shows him getting hit), he bounced right up.

More from that thread:
O'Neil convinced me that he has a lousy officiating crew and he is a hack for the league office. For the first time in 25 years I saw officials trying to hand the game to PSU. I have no doubt it is because we were #2 and would've been #1 if we won.
 Sure thing guys. Bama is just ripe for getting jumped in the polls. It happens ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the time.

This is why you should never be ranked high. You don't even know how rankings work.

I just had to wait a day.

@Buckeye86 called it. "Even" to them is when they hearken back to the days of players' parents being the refs and OOBs being a suggestion rather than a rule.
Beat me too it. Was about to post that thread. Fucking morons. Very few level headed guys in there. Don't know how they can stick around a board that delusional. If any reason to hang around there is to reassure myself that I am a normal functioning human being. Luckily I don't need that reassurance. I know I'm a nut-job. 8D

To be somewhat fair, it is a free Rivals board.

However completely fucked up a fan base is, you will get a concentrated dose of the worst of it on one of those.

Ha.

https://bwi.forums.rivals.com/threads/kirkstreet’s-top-7.189710/

They were #2, they lose, and Kirk Herbstreit says they should be #7. What are they thinking they should be ranked?
Which one of those teams should we be ahead of?
all of them. should be # 5 at the least.
I would think PSU ends up ahead of Clemson and OU. Wisconsin will still be ahead...and I figure ND passes them too.

My guess is #6

Bama
Georgia
ND
OSU
Wisconsin
PSU
