Wow! This just might be the most delusional post I have seen over there! Where the hell did they ever get the idea that Coach Meyer was ever going there? Wasn't Urban to OSU pretty much a done deal BEFORE Joesus got fired in November of 2011? (Although not officially announced until after the season ended.)

yes, except to them. They think they had a very real shot, and some even mistake Urban's pretty obvious recruitment of some of them (before being formally hired) as proof that he was Happy Valley bound before the scandal broke. Never mind which schools Adolphus Washington was deciding between.

That Urban was going to follow Joesus claim has been out there on BWI for a long time. Even before the scandal broke in November 2011, there were threads on BWI claiming that some random poster had inside information that Urban was house hunting in central PA or had just signed a lease on an apartment/house. The rumor lives on because Urban Meyer being one of the few coaches to attend Joesus' funeral is obviously a sign to the Cult that he deeply respected Joesus and was set to follow Joesus.

Prior to Bill O'Brien taking the job, the Cult was duped by a Tug Speedwell-like source who convinced them that Nick Saban or Les Miles would be the next PSU coach, but the announcement could not be officially made until after the Alabama-LSU national title game.

Of course, the BoT ruined all that and Urban is now a cheating scumbag who looks the other way in all manner of rule breaking. :sarcastic:

They were pretty close to targeting on Barrett's TD when his head got knocked by one of the helmets, right before someone jammed some fingers into his face mask, which also didn't seem to be noticed. Our devious plot to have the refs appear unbiased is succeeding.

That just speaks to how good they are at keeping Penn State down. They do all these calls against us when we play Wisconsin, knowing we'll win and be able to point to that game as proof that there is no conspiracy. All so we can get bullshit call after bullshit call a week later.
