PSU'ers have an innocent explanation for everything. Do you notice how they're already discounting the Freeh report because it was commissioned by the Board of Trustees? In PSU conspiracy world, the BOT is doing whatever it can to justify their inhumane treatment of Paterno.

I don't know what a Wichita Lunch Pail is. If you try to look it up and stumble upon urban dictionary's definition of a Pittsburgh Lunchpail, you might laugh until you cry.

Obvious that Freeh was paid for by BOT, this is not a real investigation Reply

This is a paid for justification of BOTs actions with university funds. It stinks to high hell and all Penn Staters should be pissed that this board of pansies are willing to throw everyone else under the bus to protect themselves. This is going to get uglier. It will get uglier because the BOT participated in the cover up and the Freeh "investigation" is nothing more than misuse of university funds to continue the cover up. Disgusting.


They talk about asking if senior administrators protected players. Excuse me, WTF does that have to do with Sandusky? Did some players know about Sandusky? If not, what is there to protect? This is a deliberate attempt by BOT scum to justify their actions and pin it on probably the only guy who was honest about the whole thing - Joe. Disgusting.


I hold multiple degrees from PSU and love PSU and everything we stand for. Too bad the BOT seems intent on tearing it down to protect themselves. I suggest that PSU alumni gather funds to have an independent REAL investigation conducted that includes looking at the BOT. I say we investigate every damned member of the BOT not only with their actions regarding Sandusky but in their private business as well. These cowards can NOT piss on my university and expect to hide. Alumni need to seriously pool our money and hire a REAL and independent investigator that will ask REAL questions, not just those that the BOT has directed for their personal interests. It's time we stand together and demand the whole truth and hold the responsible parties accountable. No more BS paid for coverups and blaming it on a dead legend. We are....still and always will be..PENN STATE. The dirty cowards in the BOT can't take this from us.

I'll say it again, their entire self-worth and identity is wrapped up in this one-dimensional, heroic, better than everyone else image of Joe Paterno. They will NEVER, NEVER give that up. To do so would undermine their very basis for being.

PSU your emperor wasn't clothed in honor, truth and integrity..he was NAKED and you refused to admit it. How long will you hold on to the myth? Its time to give up the lies and move on..you won't of course but you'll be living in this HELL for years ..
