Lots of good stuff in that thread, but I think post below is my favorite. Seems like a pretty obvious reason why an employers would be wise to stay away from Ped State grads. Yea, that's what I want in an employee -- a crazy Joebot who has gotten in "so many arguments at work" refuting the media "BS."

PSU... "It's nice to see some people outside PSU that didn't buy into the media bs. I gotten in so many arguments at work with people who just parrot what they saw on a headline. It's so frustrating."

I was wearing an Ohio State hoody, and some guy came up to me and started trash talking me that same old media driven story about how Woody punched a player from Clemson. I gave him a good 5 minute education about how the media covered up the camera angle that clearly showed that Woody has trying to give the Clemson guy a congratulatory pat on the back and the kid ducked into it so it looked like a punch. The guy listened attentively, and admitted he never knew about any of this. Hopefully he will tell others about what really happened.

Another great response from the BWI thread linked a few posts above. Apparently, it was completely refreshing for the Cult member to be able to spew his bullshit about Joesus being guilt-free by standing by for 10 years after being informed what Sandusky doing.

Ranger Dan: "I was at dinner for our conference tonight and was talking to one of the instructors about football. He volunteered that he rooted for Penn State and thought that they got a raw deal. and I said that Sandusky got what he deserved, but Joe got a raw deal. Someone else attempted to challenge that,and I said that Joe did exactly what he was supposed to do, but the jury is still out on the leadership. Again, its refreshing for someone not connected to Penn State or even a fan to get that Joe was not to blame for Sandusky's actions. It was also nice to have a calm setting to correct someone as to Joe's being guilt free."

For the next BP fundraiser, we should have a contest to see who can write up the best mock "PSU fan corrects some poor ignorant SOB and makes him see the light" story (kind of like the bad Hemingway contest). $10 BP donation entry fee to PM your entry to whichever Mod (elitist prick) volunteers to receive them and post them in one poll thread when the submission deadline passes. Winner gets BP immortality and 25% of the donations.

I have three or four bottles of the green fairy too, don't drink from them much. It is an acquired taste for sure.

I am pretty much convinced that the buzz is no different than others. I've had a few benders on it and it wasn't much of a different drunk than others. Tried as I might.

Same as one of the threads I posted earlier. But Michigan man decides to argue. He starts to call them crazy for believing the refs are out to get Penn State. But then he goes into "the refs hate us, too! We're on your side!"

If you want to say TUOS has had some big breaks go for it, as our 06 classic was decided by a ref, but this whining over Michigan is beyond old. I bet you were right there calling out the refs all the time your chosen officials hooked PSU up before you joined the conference. Pfft As if.

You hated the 2 seconds we got in 05, well we hated the 2 secs MSU got.
