Paternoville sign damaged, stolen

Police are searching for a driver who crashed his or her vehicle into a Paternoville marker outside Beaver Stadium then stole the sign. Penn State officials said the vehicle was captured on camera damaging property about 4:15 a.m. Tuesday at the stadium.
The surveillance camera captured an unknown driver damaging gates, driving over grass and knocking down two signs, including the Paternoville marker, Penn State said.
Police described the vehicle as a gray or silver sedan, possibly a Toyota. It may have substantial damage to the passenger side front and door, they said.
