I love all of the "I'm glad he didn't come to Penn State posts." But I love this one more:

Pryor should have listened to Joe. Joe told him that he should play defensive end at Penn State and if he did then he would be a first round draft pick. Joe was right as usual. Pryor would be the best defensive end in pro football right now if he would have listened to Joe.

All that post is missing is how Joe would have turned him into a model citizen and how he'd likely have Pryor would have defended Joe in front of the media, and had stormed into the BOT Terminator-style and would have eliminated the whole lot of them, and then willingly handed proper control of the university to Joe. Then, with the new job of running the University (officially, this time), he would have had a new desire to live. With the youthful vigor of a 3-year old watching Star Wars for the first time, he would have lived another 50 years.

I was involved in the financing and construction of the Hall of Fame. They did not know how to handle the Sandusky situation so they made a decision at the time the displays were created to downplay Penn State and Joe Pa. Notice his shoes are displayed but no large pictures of him. There is a mural that was painted in the lobby and again no Joe Pa represented but plenty of Southern coaches. This will change over time and I think PSU FANS should unite and collectively put some pressure on the Hall Management and National Football Foundation to properly recognize Joe.
