The cult is asking for Bad calls that went against teams playing Ped State. Amazingly, they cannot remember any!

Here's the main reason they aren't getting any responses:

There's hardly any of them left that haven't been banned.

I'd say that in 2005 or 2007, Penn State's quarterback did a QB sneak where he reached the ball out over the goal line and pulled it back. I thought he pulled it back before he got it over the goal line. But there was no review. The announcers didn't say anything. I wasn't too upset by it. I don't think it was 4th down, and Penn State likely would have scored next play, anyway. And it was early in the game, so if it was 2005, Ohio State should have had time to come back and win.

I think the big thing is that we (fans of other teams in the Big Ten) don't dwell on these issues. Deal with THIS play, THIS moment. Not last play or 2 plays ago or last quarter or game. Sure, I've seen calls that I thought were bad go against Ohio State. But I don't let them bother me.

The only one that kills me Zurp is the Illinois fumble through the end zone on their first possession in 2007 that wasn't called. He fumbled on the three yard line.

I agree. That one was bad. But I thought the poster wanted to see calls made against Ohio State that helped Penn State win. So I was only thinking of games where Ohio State played Penn State. There was a thread at one time where people brought up some controversial calls. I think someone else brought up 1974, maybe, where Michigan State beat Ohio State AFTER the game was over. Weird.

Anyway, another thread about wanting to leave the Big Ten.

I think most here would rather we have joined the ACC....
but, that ship has sailed. Sadly, the B1G needs us far more than we need it and it's too bad our leadership doesn't realize that. This conference is dumb, but not dumb enough to kick us out as much fun as that would have been to watch.

Why do they think we need them? We need them to show us how to have everyone in the stadium wear the same color? We need them to show us how to cover up child rape? We need them to get 3+ conference losses every year?

Yeah, the simple fact is that they complain about virtually every loss they have, while our losses against them just don't happen enough. I was hoping some Nebraska fan would post that awful 1982 call. (Admittedly before the Big Ten days.).

Another thread started by someone who wants Penn State to leave the conference.
And go where? This guy has an answer:

Yes, but their biggest bitch about the B1G is the fact that their share of the bowl revenue was withheld during their bowl ban. (Well, that and the massive officiating bias that they've convinced themselves really does exist.) Anyway, going independant would mean there is no bowl revenue sharing - they get only the dollars they can generate themselves. How much cash can the New Era Pinstripe Bowl really pay out anyway?

Add into that the loss of TV/advertising/endorsement money the B1G generates for them, they'd really be hurting.

Them voluntarily leaving the B1G thinking they would find greener pastures elsewhere would be the single largest act of buffoonery in the history of the world.... Of course, all they need is for a couple more joesus cult members to get elected to the BoT and who knows......

I remember in a game a few years ago, there was a really bad spot that went PedState's way and gave them a first down they didn't deserve.

Fortunately, dearly departed Joesus had the foresight to not only create something called "instant replay", but also the wherewithal get the plodding B1G dinosaurs on his page to allow it be used during games. This advancement allowed tOSU's coach - Urban-something - to take the unprecedented action of challenging the spot. Upon further review, it was decided that the Pedsters did not, in fact deserve a first down and Ohio State was awarded possession of the football at a key moment of the game. This change in momentum allowed the Buckeyes to squeak out a 63-7 victory over the Pedster cult.

Is that the kind of thing they're looking for?

No. They're looking for moments when the bad call is NOT reversed by instant replay, when available.
But they probably use that as a way that THEY got screwed. They were losing by 50 points. How dare the officials make a call against what they wanted? And it's an example of what a shithead that Urban Meyer is.

The cult has maxed out their alumni elected rep at 9. Their hope now is both to get the percentage of alumni seats expanded and that the new gov will appoint cultists to the other seats. As the new gov definitely panders to the cult if not a full fledged member herself, there is a legit chance this could happen and the cult would gain control if the university and all its legal resources.
