Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

Were you one of the others watching the NC game on Funnel Vision on the Disney Fantasy? (I was...and we outnumbered the Duck fans at least 10 to 1)

No, just had a quick three night trip to the Bahamas on the Dream. Our family with the cousins. Frankly, it met or exceeded all expectations... Especially since you can bring your own alcohol on board.

Would have been fun to watch the NCG on board like that tho.

My level of disappointment with human justice is immeasurably low right now, lower even than 409 fathoms.
A wise person would turn away from this abyss before it begins to gaze back (if it hasn't already).

Still, Spring is coming, and with it, the faint possibility of justice from our less-spineless Mother Nature.

It's not a realistic expectation, of course. But, a girl can dream, can't she?

Funny how the lawsuit was brought about due to the NCAA fining them taxpayer money, but the only stipulation on the money now is that it now be spent inside Pennsylvania. They are still out the $60 million, but JoePa's wins are restored.

What exactly was the priority again?

The $60 mil was all about leverage and getting the NCAA to court and making Mark Emmert blink first. The real goal was always the wins. They just needed cover story to make their $60 mil case sound credible. Best guess is that after a a few rounds of court losses Emmert realized he had no shot at winning these cases in PA and caved in.

Athetic Director Sandy Barbour has now gone full-blown Neville Chamberlain and apologized to The Cult over her 409 sticker comments. Apparently, when pnnylion demands an apology from the athletic director of a Big 10 university, that is exactly what he gets. I am shaking my head that a university administrator saw fit to publicly grovel to people who justify the rape of children.

“First of all, I want to apologize for the tweet,” said Barbour.

Barbour then went further and called her tweet "“inappropriate and insensitive”

1. Yes, the #1 thing on the current AD's mind should be the win total of an old, dead football coach. Before any action, comment and thought is made, consideration should be made to Joesus, and how his legacy might be affected.
2. I don't know how big business like PedState athletics work, but in my little corner of the world, it's a commonly accepted policy that you should at least discuss things with your boss before doing something that might affect the entire organization.
3. This just goes to show that the AD position at PedState has never been a real position of power. Joesus ran that school, and never had a real boss.

It was about more than just the wins. C'mon guys, they want to bring the statue back out of hiding and back where it belongs...with a minor alteration...
