Ha. Sick burn of the Cult from Keith Olbermann. The Cult is all mad about Olbermann brutalizing Penn St in an epic rant on Friday. The Cult currently has a thread on BWI pondering who should debate Olbermann and teach him FACTS and EVIDENTS. Apparently, a Cultist mesaged Olbermann to take him to task for his uninformed opinion. Olbermann then replied:

RT @KeithOlbermann: "Son, your opinion of Penn State is your business. Understand though that the WORLD'S opinion of it is: Jerry Sandusky."

The Cult is now trying to flood Olbermann's twitter account with FACTS. John Ziegler himself even makes a visit.

First useful thing Olbermann's ever done.

The four letter word I think of regarding this story and the comments that follow is CULT.

NCAA's involvement with Penn State penalties flawed from the start

The name is Joe Paterno, the late Penn State football coach. The number is 409, the total victories Paterno's record once again displays, making him college football's winningest coach.

But Friday's settlement is really about four letters -- NCAA -- and the four-letter words that should be used to describe its repeatedly shoddy approach to crisis management.

Brent Clarke · Penn State
What happened to those children was horrible. The NCAA's actions (Sanctions) did not make it any better. Quite the contrary. It punished players, coaches, and fans 15 years removed from the issue.
Freeh report - flawed conclusions.
Scholarships - restored
Bowl games - restored
Wins - restored
The NCAA is slowly, awkwardly trying to make this right. Now Penn State needs to make this right with the Paternos.
For the naysayers and haters, all you have left is, "But what about the children?"

the fact that you interpret concern for the well being of children as just "haters and naysayers" shows exactly why these sanctions were needed and are still needed as it's quite clear Penn State still doesn't get it

Easing of Penn State sanctions leaves USC feeling ‘abused and upset’

“Well, it’s too late,” Pat Haden said during a radio interview Friday as transcribed by the Los Angeles Daily News. “We’re back to no scholarship limitations at all. I can tell you… over the last four and a half years I have been back there asking for a look at our penalties at least three times and have been rebuffed. At this point, I know USC fans and I feel this way too, when we see other programs around the country get relief or less penalty than we received, you feel abused and upset.”
