Penn State at tOSU, Oct 30th, 7:30 PM, ABC

Depending on Teague and Williams status for this week we could see a backfield of Henderson and Pryor for this game with Johnson as a third option. That would put Henderson most likely in the 25-30 carries for the game. Would be nice to have Williams and Teague available though.

Dude has anyone discussed the disparity between the yardage of Henderson and Cain? I was on ESPN looking at the pre game page and I saw:

Cain: 78 carries 245 yds

Henderson: 79 693…?

Is that even accurate? Seriously
I think they were tied in yardage until TreVeyon went for 448 on his last carry.

Was just thinking about Olave becoming an instant legend against scUM. Although PSU is not a rival, this is one of those legend games IMO. With the internet, and real time ability to view an opposing fanbase destroyed, I can't wait to see which guy(s) might have the best game of their young careers. Can imagine Henderson, wouldn't be totally surprised if it was Williams. CJ and 6 TD's maybe? There are many guys on offense that might do it, would be thrilled if someone on defense or even special teams could do it. Would love to see the kickoffs after their two field goals returned for TD's. Not sure what the odds would be, would love to see the choices though.

We don't want the game to be that close at the end, but still this was a signature play by the defense (would have been 7 years ago now):

2014 Lookback: Bosa's walk-off sack capped OT win at Penn State

Oct 25, 2019
It was five years ago today that Ohio State ventured to Penn State as part of its 2014 national championship season.

Entire article: https://247sports.com/college/ohio-...nship-at-Penn-State-five-years-ago-137471849/

Great nostalgic article on the 2014 game.

I consider Penn State a rival. Over the last 17 years, they've played us closer than our main rival, with 4 wins vs 1 for the weasels. I anticipate a tough game regardless of the score as Penn State's season will be a disaster if they fail to win a game against the Bucks, Michigan, or Sparty.

Michigan being bad doesn't make PSU a rival.

You confuse challenger with rival, and you overvalue their status. The former is a consistently difficult game on the schedule. Purdue, Indiana for awhile, Wisconsin. These are dangerous opponents, not rivals.

As it pertains to challenging/overtaking OSU, Penn State has not matched Dantonio's Spartans.
In terms of beating OSU, they have not caught Purdue.
In terms of being a thorn in their side, they aren't within miles of Bama, Clemson or formerly Florida.
In terms of being hated, they aren't close to Notre Dame. Who hasn't beaten OSU in most of our entire lives.

They are an in conference foe that longs to be rivaled, but remains unrivaled.

I have to admit. The level of Fury in the PED games I watch probably means it's a rivalry. Its okay though guys because they aren't "THE" rivalry but as a nice secondary team they usually give us the most issues.

If we beat PED like IU I'll put everything on the Bucks because PED plays us well typically.
