The part I have a problem with isn't the offense. That's a given because of Jim Tressel leaving and having unqualified assistants run the show.

My problem is the defense seems to be having major issues at this point. That entire staff stayed intact.

There just needs to be some major changes all-around.

I agree. Kudos to the unit for turning it around in the second half and that huge goal line stand. But, seems like the defense definitely regressed over the course of the season.

Not that it mattered or would have had any outcome on the game, but I was wondering about why the holding call in the end zone on OSU was not offset by the receiver going out of bounds and then being the first to touch the ball? The play was reviewed to see if it was a completion and they had to see the player went out of bounds prior to touching the ball. I believe this was right before the goal line stand by the Bucks. Can that penalty be enforced after review?

Worst call of the game? The Posey screen/lateral on second and 10. It wasn't a screen at all, there was no blocking. The one time they try to exploit a defender playing 10 yards off the ball, they get a bad snap and a late throw resulting in a loss of a couple yards.

Shit, I'm so used to seeing that kind of garbage, I barely batted an eye.

Nope. Even if you see the most blatant penalty ever on replay it doesn't matter. Once it's not called it's over with. You are right though, I'd did seem like the guy stepped out on his own and then came in to catch it. So it should have been a penalty. Fortuantely it never cost us.

Fair-weather fans. :shake:

Thanks....... Missing one-half of football does make me one, doesn't it? I guess turning on each other is a product of bad play and terrible execution.

All I want this year is a win against Michigan. I have several Michigan friends that have been talking up the game this year, and it would make me extremely happy if we came out of there with a win. Continue the streak!!

Yea, wtf was that. Normal that kind of play is a pre-snap read off a run. Pretty sure that was the play call though because the o-line wasn't blocking like it was a qb run.
