Game Thread Penn State at tOSU, Nov 19, 3:30 ET, ABC

The student section in the north endzone of block o tried to start the wave in the fourth quarter- again, they pulled that same shit against Penn State in 2008. Whoever is in charge of trying to start the wave period, much less at such inappropriate times, should never be allowed in Ohio Stadium again.

Number of waves attempted: 5 or 6.

Number of O H I O cheers started: 0.

Pathetic showing from the student leaders that pisses me off so much.

I am not part of the 1-11 is okay if we beat TSUN crowd but it sure:biggrin: as hell wouldnt hurt.

Maraschino cherry atop that sundae: WI mopping up the field with Ped State. Otherwise, there's not enough Dimenhydrinate in the world to soothe my reaction to seeing post-it-note boy get his team anywhere near the inaugural BTCG trophy. :sick1:

Don't usually weight in post-game but I just wanted to say that I am so tired of hearing that this team has struggled this year because of coaching. I have been a Bollman critic but yesterday had much more to do with execution than it did play-calling. No, I was not a fan of Hyde running the Wildcat, but it doesn't change the fact that those sets can be effective if they are executed properly, especially by the OL. Braxton missed wide open receivers, either because he wasn't seeing them or he wasn't being given enough time...there were plenty of examples of both. And defensively don't even get me started. Heacock called a great game yesterday...good enough to win in a walk. The problem was execution...poor angles, missed tackles, horrible technique, and in some cases a flat out unwillingness to stick your nose in there and make a play...specifically with reference to Johnson, Bryant and Barnett. The film session for this game is not going to be pretty.

Looking forward to seeing Ross Fulton's breakdowns on Along the Olentangy...I'm willing to bet his analysis reaches the same conclusion I did after re-watching that debacle.

Brighter days are ahead...

I would throw Howards name in there as well but not to the extent of the 3 mentioned above.

Also, I am convinced something is not clicking with Storm. I can't place my finger on it but he is a half second late to read/react and I don't think it is because of physical slowness.

I was at the game Saturday. It was my first trip ever to Ohio Stadium, and while we didn't win, I can honestly say it was one of the best days of my life (next to the birth of my daughter of course). We sat in row 2 of 6B. Definitely better seats than I was expecting coming in. Loved every minute of it, can't wait to come back next year.

Also got to see the basketball team destroy Jackson State the night before.

Go Bucks!

This years student section was pretty terrible I have to admit. Even in the south stands whenever they had cards to spell something out it was rare when it actually worked.
