Disagree. Yes our D held and they didn't get anything from it, but we were running the ball right down their throats that possession and making real progress. Not only did it kill that, but it allowed them to take the ball and run a ton more of the clock, as well as land us in terrible field position.

That fumble may not have destroyed us, but it sure as hell crippled us badly.

We got the ball back and were running solid. Boom was ripping it and we were in a rhythm breaking off 10+ yard runs.

All else is secondary.

The biggest positive from this game is that the young defense really stepped up in the second half! We were all screaming for them to do so and they did. The offense made mistakes and it cost them...PERIOD.

It hasn't been a good season so far....but pull off a win at scUM next week and it will be a good year.

Lots to look forward to...a new OC may be the biggest positive that comes out of this season!

Fumbles, errant snaps all night, the false start. Way to much for an offense like this to overcome.

I don't understand though why our defense had trouble with Moxie in the first half, the guy has the weakest arm I've ever seen. All he can throw consistently well are slants, screens, and anything else under 15 yards. Once we realized that he's the same guy from last year, and remembered how to defend the wildcat, their offense was done.

Let's not turn on ourselves, it's skunkbear week. I see a lot of promise in this team for next year, regardless of whether Luke Fickell or Urban Meyer is coaching. No need to debate who the better choice is in this thread.

I feel like there were three games we could (and should) have won in the 4th quarter this year. Neb, Pur, and PSU. Had we won those three, we would feel really good about the turnaround in this season, I believe. I can't bear to dredge up memories of the the other two losses :grr: . Beat scUM and I can live with this season.

Kinda like last year when he threw for two td's in the first half.

The part I have a problem with isn't the offense. That's a given because of Jim Tressel leaving and having unqualified assistants run the show.

My problem is the defense seems to be having major issues at this point. That entire staff stayed intact.

There just needs to be some major changes all-around.

True, Capo, but a lot of folks are frustrated because of the simple fact...no [censored]ing way that we should have allowed those [censored]s come into The Shoe and do this. The team just stepped all over their dicks. Two fumbles, three [censored]ed up snaps form a center who started nearly every game he has been here, and two dropped long balls...all on Senior Day and the day we honor TBDBITL's 28-year director. Totally embarassing and absolutely not acceptable...

Agreed. I'm as frustrated as anyone. However, we have established a level of behavior here and we will maintain that even in this wreck of a year.
