I have to get a passport soon...

I didn't realize you have to supply the photos...



Someone told me to take the pictures on a digital camera and Walmart resizes and prints the photos to specs...

Anyone have any experience?

I don't know where you are at but we went and did our Passports a couple weeks ago. They actually took the photos at the post office, $14 I believe.

Getting my passport next week to go to Europe for spring break. Getting it all done at the Post Office. I hate running errands...like to do it all at one spot. Makes life easier. :)

got mine at Costco, I think the wife did Walmart. Locally Cord Camera can do them too, I would imagine a someplace down there like that can do it too.

You only need the passport for air travel for now. you can still drive over the border, or go on a cruise without one.

I think you can get the pics taken at Kinkos. I think that's what I did, but I don't really remember.

Be sure and apply for your passport *well* in advance of your planned trip. They take several weeks (4-6??) to process.

Four to eight weeks (usually six) although you can get expedited service (like 2 weeks) for some extra cash.....

We got ours at a CVS Pharmacy. They had a special, like 8 photos on a sheet for something like eight dollars. We split the pictures; 4 for me and four for my wife (on same sheet). It worked out great.​
