Cincinnati (OH) Princeton offensive tackle Paris Johnson told reporters at check-in on Sunday that he's 100 percent solid to Ohio State. LSU hosted him for an official visit, but barring a change, LSU has a lot of ground to make up in this one. Johnson ranks as the No. 8 overall prospect in the country and No. 1 offensive tackle in the nation.

I’m going to be completely honest, perhaps even a little blunt. Paris Johnson is college ready, like today. Jackson Carmen would’ve been a great person to plug next to Johnson. That being said, I don’t think Carmen would’ve been ready by his junior year. I was bummed about losing Carmen, but when I saw this guy in this class, I was all “Jackson who?”

When I saw Urban Meyer pull off perhaps the most clutch home run recruiting job in history and replace Carman with NPF I was all "Jackson who?"
Paris Johnson is just an incalculable amount of gravy on top if you are putting in the context of losing Carman.
