OT Isaiah Prince (All B1G, Tennessee Titans)

https://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1703652
It's no secret that Maryland, Alabama, Florida and Ohio State are the main contenders for Rivals100 offensive tackle Isaiah Prince. The Greenbelt (Maryland) Eleanor Roosevelt star will be making the short trip to College Park this weekend to watch the Terps take on Michigan State. Prince 's only scheduled official visit is to Alabama on Jan. 16 but Ohio State and Florida are expect to get official visits as well. It may have caught a few people off guard when Prince said that he will not be taking an official visit to Maryland but he's been there so many times that he already feels like he has seen everything there is to see. Prince wants to use his official visits to go see schools he otherwise wouldn't be able to.

Sources say the two remaining official visits could be going to Virginia Tech and Penn State. Neither are scheduled and no dates have been proposed by Prince's camp or the schools. Ironing out the details of these visits could be tricky with Eleanor Roosevelt preparing for a long playoff run that could run from this weekend until Friday Dec. 5.

Maryland looks to be in the driver’s seat for Top100 offensive tackle Isaiah Prince, who has scheduled officials with Ohio State and Alabama for later this month. He does not have anything scheduled with the Terps but says he’ll make the short ride over at some point, most likely during the week for an official. One source recently told 247Sports that the Buckeyes look like Maryland’s main competition.

WAITING ON A PRINCE
One 2015 player that Ohio State has been aggressively chasing for months — yet he remains under the radar so-to-speak — is Greenbelt, Maryland offensive lineman Isaiah Prince. Maryland's top prospect for 2015, Prince is the eighth-ranked offensive tackle in the country and sources at Ohio State say that there's been a slight bump in landing the 6-foot-6, 275-pounder.

"We're not going to get our hopes up yet," a source at the WHAC said. "But, we had a good visit with him yesterday and he's going to be back on campus this weekend. We think we have a program that makes sense for what he's looking for."

What Prince is looking for, according to those close to him, is a family atmosphere in a top-flight football program, and the Buckeyes are comfortable that they offer both of those things. He visited Columbus over the summer and although he's coming off an official visit to Alabama, the home-state Terrapins remain the odds-on favorite to land Prince.

Gotta think Prince is paying attention to OSU's recent success in placing o-linemen in the NFL--Norwell (Panthers), Mewhort (Colts), and Linsley (Packers) were all starters as rookies in the NFL. And, more impressively, they were starters on very good NFL teams, each of which being a playoff team that won at least one playoff game this year.

Not to mention that Decker was being projected by many as a late 1st-mid 2nd rounder at LT. I think with another solid year, he is a top 15 pick next year. How awesome would it be to learn from Decker in Prince's redshirt year and possibly become the heir apparent there. He needs plenty of Coach Mick time first but he has the tools for it. And if Feder plays LT and pans out well, we would have a very athletic RT in Prince down the road.

ISAIAH PRINCE VISIT MAY BE OFF
247Sports.com/Bucknuts reporting that Greenbelt, Maryland OL Isaiah Prince's official visit to Ohio State this weekend may not happen. Trying to get some feedback from OSU on this, but will update as I can. Ohio State was cautiously optimistic following an in-home visit with Prince earlier this week but it appears that last week's visit to Bama might have sealed the deal.
