Boy! Am I glad we beta 'Bama out for Prince!

But regarding the lineup stated above, I think Prince beats out Jones by next year.

I see the lineup as follows:
Jones - Elflien - Knox - Burrell - Prince

Not sure about the interior, except maybe for the RG, but am very confident that, barring injury, Prince beats out Jones for the crucial LT spot.

I think you have your line up backwards haha... I too see Prince beating out Jones as a LT and not a RT. I think Jones shifts to RT due to being a shorter lineman with not as great of a reach. Also you left Price out of your starting line up? I am assuming that was a over sight?

Changes like that needed to happen in September. It won't happen now unless an injury or suspension happens.

I think Decker is fine. Boren is the weakest link IMO, which is too bad because he's a fan favorite. For the life of me I'll never be able to explain how he blocked the Alabama defensive linemen the way he did.

He knows how to "hold with-in the limits". Basically grab at the DLs chest plate and try to get a firm grip and try to let go when your arms get too extended. This is what many linemen do, some better than others.

If they didn't want you to hold they wouldn't build handles into the chest plate of the the shoulder pads. That's all I'm saying. Long arms go a long way in helping you grab the handles before the defender can get into you. That works well to help you stay in front of a guy, but not so much when you get the Bosa bull rush and thrown back into the QB.

Alabama and Oklahoma worry me down the road. They have both been piling up sacks this year, though Okie does get to play against air raid offenses every week.

The Bama team of last year did not get much pressure or penetration.

This Bama defense might be the best of the Saban era. I have no doubt they would get more penetration than last year's. Especially against this OL.
