For those that don't know, that's a pretty good school academically in which young Andy is sprouting a 3.99 GPA. Boy, I bet the folks at Wash & Jeff lost heart long ago with his raft of offers, but they would have loved to have him on their campus.
As for choosing between us and Pitt, thankfully Andy saw the light and crossed that border to come to the Buckeye State - welcome aboard Andy ...

According to our class breakdown by position, we have 24 ships to give (had 21 until Holmes, Youboty, and Whitner declared), and with 15 verbals we have 9 left (7 if we count Small and Browning).
This commitment caught me way off guard...what a great surprise.

I actually think it will be the other way around. Decent looking TE prospect but I see bigger potential at the tackle position. Ballard is definetly the more athletic of the two. Either way great pickup and seems like a good kid plus a great student.:osu:
