I understand that the strength of the big ten won't be as much of a problem in the future as if we're undefeated we won't get left out. Sorry to burst your bubble, but we're not going undefeated every year. I would like a chance at it as a 1 loss big ten champ. In our division we won't be getting a lot of help from Indiana Maryland Penn State or Rutgers. So we need one of ttun and MSU to be perennial top-15 and the other top-25, as well as one of the teams that we play from the other side of the conference being respected. If 2 of Iowa, Nebraska, Wisky can be respectable we're in good shape. It will also be nice to get teams like Oklahoma, Texas, Oregon, and even Va Tech and TCU on the schedule.

Worrying about horseshit that you can't control in a trivial matter such as the game of football is a burden you need to let go of.

I really wish that PAC scheduling agreement had held up. If we can't get one with them, I'd like to try getting one with ACC or Leftover10... especially since I think the conference would come out on top of those more often than not. In turn, that would help put some breaks on this "Big is terrible" propaganda.

I feel like it would have been good for everyone. Rather than getting another conference game which about 2/3 every 3 years in both conferences that the extra game will be a crap one. The poor teams in the conference will get beat up one more time and the good teams will just face another cupcake. While if they line up 1-12 of each conference, everyone get's a good game they can hang their hat on. You can even schedule them all in the same weekend allowing you to wait until 2-3 weeks in to get a good feel for the best matchups. Just tell every school to leave week 4 open. It would be great and totally doable. Too bad they wimped out on us. 9 game conference schedules are a difficult to organize as a 14 team conference. I would much rather play a top-3 PAC team every year, than get Illinois, Purdue, NW, Minny as the extra team for 4 years and then we get Wisky and Nebraska 1/3rd of the time as the extra.
