who is Mrs. Anderson ?

And can I have some of what you are drinking?
It is sort of funny but when you go back and look at some of the player's threads when they initially committed to the Buckeyes. Lighty would have only been here for two years and no more and Turner was definitely gone after three. There was even AE little talk about JD not being here all 4 years.

I was drinking with Mrs. Henderson:blush:

We will do more rotating next year I believe...

I would also see us going with a 4 guard lineup more with Turner, Lighty, Buford, and Crater/Hill...

I really think guys like Diebler and Wallace could get minutes cut, unless they prove they need minutes...

Lots of depth on the wing...

Wallace has only played 58 minutes all season. How many more can you cut from the poor guy? :p

We better worry about this year first.
I would like to see Wallace get a few more minutes.
I would sit Deibler more to let him settle down some.

Not trying to be sassy but why even bother having a recruiting thread not only in basketball but in football if we aren't going to speculate about the coming years.

I totally agree that we need to worry about this year and I would like to see Wallace get more minutes but he must not be ready for prime time.

I would love to see Wallace get more minutes. When he has been on the floor, he was great in the post and has a respectable mid-range jumper. IMO, he would be better alternative to Diebler right now.

Diebler has not provided the instant offense we need. The only reason I can think of why Wallace is not seeing the floor is defensive reasons and or lack of effort in practive. Otherwise I don't get it.

I would think those might be two good reasons plus he really doesn't add an "outside" shooting threat but that's not saying much on this year's team:wink2:

I worked it out a week or two ago and Wallace was the most productive on the team in points per minute, and also did very well in rebounding. I know it doesn't really show what kind of player he is because hes only played a few minutes here and there when other teams are getting blown out, but its still interesting. I'd like to see him get some more minutes.

There was some discussion of this is the Indiana game thread but I thought that I would bring it back over here where it probably belongs. I, like some others, would almost like to see Thad recruit players who are going to be here for more than one year. Sure, it was nice last year when we had the three super freshman but to see them all go after one year and not leave much continuity to the program troubles me. Maybe last year was an unusual one because we also had 2 seniors leave but what's going to happen after the 2008 season when we will probably lose Mullens, Buford, and Kosta (assuming he stays one more year).

It seems as though other schools can recruit players who stay around for at least three years and are consistently in the top 10 in the Country. Not only do we lose the players will we also lose the continuity. Again maybe this year's team was unique because we lost five players but I don't think we will have the continuity next year and then we will lose the really good players and have to start over. I just don't know where you draw the line.
