I still maintain they are done with the 2008 class and will now concentrate on the 2010 class......
Even if Jones or Chaney would like to come? I don't think these guys would be one and done types and could help out in the long run. I think we have 2 one and done guys in the 2008 class already with Buford and Mullens.

Strickland says his top schools are Florida, Michigan State, UNC, Villanova, Ohio State and Indiana. He has visits scheduled at Indiana and Florida. Strickland indicates the OSU staff has told him he is their top target in the 2009 class.

Hard to believe that he is the "top target". I would have thought that Sidney would be the top target.

Rivals.com$ (Brian Snow)

A dozen to watch in 2010........

Whats going on Junkie. New to the site Obviously, just wonderin if you can tell e the 12 to watch out for since I'm not a member of rivals.com(can't read the article. guess its too top secret)lol. And also was wondering if Cameron Wright from Cleveland Benedictine was on that list. Besides Jarred Sullinger, Cameron, was the ONLY other freshman with an Honorable mention in Ohio this past season. He is 6'5 190pds, he was 6'3 5 months ago He led his Bengals to the Elite 8 he led his team in points, assists; steals, 2nd in blocks, 3rd in rebounds. I follow his progress closely and either him or jarred will b Mr. basketball one day IMO. I was reading the threads on yappi.com and quite a few people speak highly of his progress this past spring and summer. NO I'm not a parent I just know something special when I see it. I'll be talkin about him on this site soo stay tuned and God bless

I will let "Junkie" address your comment regarding premium articles on other sites. However, I will tell you that if you ask down the Basketball Recruiting forum you will see the sophomores that Ohio State is interested in and those that have expressed an interest in Ohio State.

I will tell you that to compare Sullinger to your Benedictine Bengal is not a good comparison. Sullinger is not only rated as one of the top sophomores in the state of Ohio but is also rated as one of the top ones in the entire country. In addition, Ohio State has a "soft" verbal from Thomas who is rated as one of the top 5 sophomores.

The only 2 sophomores from Cleveland that I have seen mention in this thread are Howard St. Edwards and Nick Kellogg from Columbus DeSales.

I think if you read the thread and look at the guys in the year 2010 it will help you get caught up on something.

It's a premium article so he cannot tell you who the 12 players are. If you want to know that you need to subscribe to Rivals.

Local flavor in '10 rankings

There is some local flavor in the HoopsReport.com new rankings for the Class of 2010.

The top player in the class, according to the website, is San Diego big man Jeremy Tyler followed at No. 2 by Fort Wayne forward DeShaun Thomas.

Brandon Knight is No. 3, followed by Kendall Marshall and Ohio State commitment Jared Sullinger. And then comes the local flavor.

Georgia guard Trae Golden - a University of Kentucky target - checks in at No. 6 and UK commitment KC Ross-Miller is ranked at No. 9. Another UK commitment - Rose Hill's Dakotah Euton - is ranked at No. 31.

Euton's Rose Hill teammate - Chad Jackson - is ranked at No. 59.
