I'd be happy to take big Luther myself.
any of taylor, woods (wake guard), luther, or owens would make me happy, though the latter two are more 4s than the ballhandling 3/2/1s we really need. i'd be surprised if luther were to choose us simply because he, potter, and young are too similar in size, athleticism, and playing style.

was hoping we'd be serious contenders for juco guard wendell mitchell, but he tweeted his top 5 (which includes dayton) yesterday and osu wasn't in it despite pedon showing interest.

Not likely to apply here, or even be able to help next year (unless there is some family issues maybe?), but Indianapolis-product and starting PG for the Elite 8 Noles is transferring.

Not sure the story here yet...

CJ was a Purdue commit at one point and Butler was in his recruitment until the end. The FSU move was a surprise.

for what it's worth, terry johnson started following walker on twitter before the transfer was announced. when i first saw johnson's "follow" over the weekend, i assumed it was because walker was in the elite eight and because he was recruited by ho1tmann's butler. you know, as a way to say congrats on the success. because walker's transfer absolutely blindsided the fsu fanbase, my guess is that walker contacted our staff a while ago and initiated discussions about a transfer. putting two and two together, there may be more than just some smoke here.

Yeah, saw the news just before a meeting so my mind wasn't connecting everything (I dismissed it, then within my own post give it some thought ha)

Definitely going to track this one...could be something.

pedon now following walker, too. the staff is certainly interested. i would assume that if ho1tmann nabs a conventional point guard transfer, then the recruitment for a 2019 point guard is over. i'd rather see us sign, say, carton or beverly, but the staff has a history with walker and knows what he's about.
