Sorry but OSU does not scare me one bit. You guys are a riot, a few weeks ago you all were crying in your beer and now you win a game or two and all the sudden your team is great again....

Gee let's see how that translates into Irish.

"You Domers are a riot, last couple of years you were all crying in your beer, now you win a game or two and all of a sudden your team is great again. Heck - even losing brings you pleasure."

Yep, sounds much more convincing when you say it about ND.

:oh::io:

Chief, whenever someone uses a word like 'all' or 'everyone', it's easy for him to get in trouble. I would not include myself in the group you describe, and don't like the statement that I should be.

Consider this a friendly piece of advice.

Since it's Halloween, and today's a big day for the color orange, are you hitting the Smoothies a little early?

Chief, we deliberately put Youboty on an island so that our safties could key on Maroney and company, and to Mason and Cupito's credit, they took advantage of it -- for a little while.

ND's running game isn't quite so dominant, so you won't have to worry about that. If the Domers are unlucky enough to draw OSU in a bowl game, Brady Quinn will spend more time on his back than a Russian whore in Amsterdam...just ask Drew Stanton.

You guys DO remember Michigan State, right? They're the guys who planted their flag on your 50 yard line. :tongue2: We beat them, by the way.

this is the greatest post in the history of forums..

I don't want to know anything about Stanton's love life in amsterdam

NDChief, there were many of us who knew that it with proper execution we would have been undefeated. Even the biggest complainers were doing so about the offense, which still included a suffocating defense (which results in a pretty good team).

Advice for what? Maybe it should have read "most' ! A little picky huh?
WOW!

Anyway ND could very well get beat this week by Tenn. or and by another team or 2 on it's remaining schedule. Who knows....

Well back on topic - NDChief do you believe the computers have ND fairly ranked? And, regardless of your opinion of their ranking on the computers, what about the remainder of NDs's schedule affords them the opportunity to improve that computer ranking?

WOW!

Advice for me not getting pissed at somebody for representing my behavior on the board in a way I consider far from accurate. I wouldn't try attributing some negative behavior to "you all" on an ND board, and if anyone did, I would expect them to get called on it.

And the suggestion was to let you know that others may very well feel the same way. I believe "most" or "many" would have been a better choice, yes.

But now you've also called me "a little picky". But that is at least only directed at me. You didn't call "everyone" picky, so that's progress. :wink2:

I just don't know! While I think ND can play toe to toe with about anyone I also am not convinced that they are a top ranked team at this point. Michigan State is a good example of that. If ND played the whole game like they did the second half ND would have beat MSU by 30 points but ND stunk in the first half. I see an excellent offense and a questionable defense and after the last 10 years well .......

As for the computers, all they see is that ND lost to MSU and USC they dont know how either game could have been a win.

Thing is this NDCheif - there is a contingent (how sizeable I don't know) that thinks a Fiesta with ND vs tOSU would just be the bees knees. I'm in that contingent. But, what if the Irish don't continue to get the poll votes. Beating a lackluster Vol squad next weekend isn't the same now as it might have looked at seasons start. Then you a gig with Navy 'Cuse and go knock on the Cardinal's doorstep. None of those games realistically add much to the computer side of things. Should the voters start switching a few here and there, whither ND?

What concerns me is if the Irish fall out of BCS contention behind a string of other 2 loss teams following the conference championship games. Then the showdown in the Desert is off.

You are right but all ND can do is win out and then see what happens. ND-OSU would be awesome!! Think about ND's offense trying to move the ball against your defense. What a chess match that would be. I for one wouldn't want to bet my house on either team. I do find it funny how so many around here think OSU would kill ND. I don't see that happening...
