While I am saddened by all of the deaths in Orlando, I keep on thinking back to Paris where over 130 people lost their lives. It just makes you stop and think and wonder what the world is coming to. My heart goes out to all loved ones of people who have lost their lives because someone thought they just did not matter. May those who have lost their lives be at Peace with the Heavenly Father.

It was originally being reported that way on the local NBC station Sunday, but noticed that wasn't mentioned during the CNN coverage I saw. The NYT account I read yesterday had a slightly different interaction/confrontation happening. I'd imagine that's the more accurate account.

In almost as depressing news, the 3rd tragic event has happened in Orlando tonight, a 2-year old apparently being dragged into the water by a gator at the Grand Floridian at Disney.
