1. They're in college, not middle school. They should act like young adults; not children.
2. Even when I was elementary or middle school age, I would've got my hide beat for pulling some crap like that.
3. Growing up in Ohio and Colorado, I've had plenty a snow day to play around -- neighborhood snow fights, building snow forts, doing donuts in the parking lot, but... never resorted to vandalism and harassing other people as a form of personal entertainment
4. They obviously thought they were going to intimidate people... but once he gets out of the car, they scatter like the cowards they are.
5. They knew what they were doing was inappropriate and way beyond the line. Mob mentality.

You know those were snowballs, right?

They were dicking around, a car rolls up with some douchey old fuck that started honking his horn like a fucking child and the kids took it a little too far. What the fuck did the moron think was going to happen?

He started honking his horn within 20 seconds. He's like the bitch that is sitting behind you at a red light and honks if you don't punch it the second it turns green cause GOD DAMNIT I'M IMPORTANT AND IN A HURRY AND YOU'RE COSTING ME PRECIOUS TIME.

Actually he was a university professor who was on his way to donate some of his personal art collection to the university when he was surrounded by the very students he is underpaid to educate. Despite that, and after having snow dumped on him and in his car, the professor took the high road and released a very well-put statement on the issue. Kids being kids is one thing. Kids being total dick heads is another.

Um...kids being kids is fucking code for "sometimes, during funals, college aged kids are gonna blow off steam and occasionally act like dicks".

That poor poor underpaid professor.

 Okay, this exact same scene played out in a snowball riot in on 15th Ave Cbus in around '92 or '94 or something. Execept there were maybe 100 more people.

It was one of the funniest things I witnessed in college. Eventually so many people were out throwing snowballs that the cops slowly swept up 15th and everyone went home.

Seriously though, the one guy who decided to stop his car and get out and yell at over 100 student wielding snowballs had to be the biggest idiot on the planet. And I don't regret being one of 100+ who pelted him.

The smart drivers just rolled on through and got tagged with a few harmless snowballs. But the tough guy who stops and gets out to shake his fist?
