Oregon Ducks (aka U of Nike)

Lanning was a man in his presser. Gave credit where it was due.
Agreed.

Gotta say, Oregon got screwed the most by the cluster fuck seeding..

tOSU should have been 5 or 6..we beat State Penn..and Oregon getting OSU and not Boise or ASU in their first game was a travesty

That said..fuck a duck
Yep. I like that the 4 byes go to conference champions, but they should re-sort the final 8 based on the rankings.
Ohio State was 6th. They should have played #3 Texas. #1 Oregon should have played #12 Arizona State.
#2 Georgia should get #9 Boise.
#4 Penn State should have gotten #5 Notre Dame.

This makes me realize maybe Oregon wasn’t a good long term investment for the big ten. They may win a national title in the next 5 years but knight won’t be alive forever and what happens to them then? They become UCLA?
I really just don't see them ever winning it all. Maybe they'll get some transcendent qb to lead them to one. But that's not something to count on happening.

My guess is he'll set up an NIL slash football fund trust and leave half his fortune to it with whoever the Oregon football coach or AD as trustee(s)
