Oregon Ducks (aka U of Nike)

Used to only be able to sign so many kids per year

for this year, there is no “hard cap” to number you can sign.

but you have to stay within the 85 scholarship total limit.

i just don’t know when you have to be at 85, or how you count to get there.

meaning can you sign X amount and then “release” Y amount after to get to 85?
if so, that opens up to some serious potential abuse.

Les Wexner

$200M in lifetime donations, and none has gone to athletics. The $5M to name the athletic facility after him were a gift from his wife and kids. He has zero fucks to give for bidding on high school football players. Hell, even most of his donations aren't strictly academic. He donates in areas where the university and city intersect (Arts Center, Medical Center).
