I am not sure what everyone expects Coombs to do. I am not so sure with our inexperience we can play any other defense. We all knew the D was going to be a work in progress this year the the Offense was go to have to carry the D the first half of the season.

You can’t go home again. I wasn’t wild about rehiring Coombs but wasn’t against it until he was a DC. It’s pretty clear he is a great DB coach but is in over his head as a college DC.

With how much rotating they're doing, that's the only thing I can think of. Or the only possible reason to hope.
