Oregon at tOSU, Sep 11th, Noon ET on Fox

Check out some of the comments here:

Just sayin': There are 2 Ohio State ticket programs that are pricing the average fan out of the stadium:

1. The ticket prices are set depending on the opponent. The Oregon game is $160 per seat and the available seats are predominately high C-deck in the end zone.

2. Ohio State allows people to buy the good seats (i.e. $160 per seat) and resell them on Ticketmaster at scalper prices. Some sellers are asking over $1000 for a seat that they paid $160 for.

Anytime taking the family to a September game, a game you can drive to, and it will still cost about $1,000....you've priced yourself out of 95% of Buckeye families.

Would love to see whatever tickets are left after today......give them to local first responders and teachers in the area.

Yeah the asking price for tickets last I looked were outrageous, which is why I passed on going to this one and bought some for the Akron game instead. I am dying to get back in the Shoe (been like 5 years I think), but not at that price.

Same. Last game I went to was Minny in 2015 (what an awful game). I moved to Florida shortly after, then to NC, now back home in Columbus as of June. So I go on to look at tickets and… nah I’m good.

Yes. Do what it takes to fill the stadium and also reward our first responders. Honestly a great idea.

I had a hope to fly in from Portland, OR for this game and tailgate with the family, possibly attend. Obviously not going to happen for a lot of different reasons but extra tickets make me wonder what could have been, even if they are triple digits for nose bleeds. That kind of experience is impossible to replace.

You can start it in the college football forum. We had one at one time, but I couldn’t find it.

I was intending on including the NFL as well. So for safety sake, at the moment, I started it in the gaming sub-forum.

If you still feel it belongs elsewhere, by all means move it more front and center. I have zero issue with that.

If it were a night game or even a 3:30 kickoff, I'm guessing it'd be sold out.
Yeah I won't lie... that's a big time downfall of a big noon kick which we typically always are since we are the big ten top program. Noon kicks in the horse Shoe aren't as appealing as night games. After going to both noon and night games by far the night games are better.

This might not be the right place for this, and if not, mods, please feel free to relocate

But, this in a nutshell is why FOX is the underdog in this network/conference battle. They're (so far) seemingly content to let ABC/ESPIN have all of the prime ratings timeslots (3:30 and primetime), while keeping their premier matchup in the noon slot every week.

The rest of the week 2 lineup is a smelly pile of dung and FOX would have probably double the ratings if the game was an 8:00 kick. (Just realized that ABC has UW/scUM on at 8:00 - wow that's bad.)

You’re good there since it’s college and pro.

1000% agree... instead they throw ttun vs Washington in prime time? Makes no sense.
