Check out the youtube from last year's game that I posted in the first couple pages of this thread (post #17).

Because of those plays, Blount said before tonight that Boise St. has an ass-whooping coming to them, or words to that effect.

Well Blount talked smack prior to the game about how they needed to kick Boise States ass. Then after the game the kid he punched tapped him on the shoulder pads and said something liek ticked him off.

From there Blount went crazy:

Not a build-up all game. I'd say Blount was just frustrated he was bottled up all game after talking shit leading up to the game. The BSU player let him know about it after the game, and Blount wasn't having it....

Note: I would love to see what would happen if someone punched Tim Tebow like that.... I think the Anti-Christ would rise up and suck the "puncher" into the underworld to spend enternity with Andy Dick and Paris Hilton.

The fan incident could be the nail in the coffin for Blount. Responding to a classless comment is poor form but understandable... lots of players have been restrained/chippy after an emotional event. But you absolutely cannot go after fans.

Did the lineman actually get dropped with that punch, or did he take a dive to draw more attention to it?

If this were his first, it would be worth 2-4 weeks off. I think he's gone.

When I saw the cops around him after the punch, I thought he was being arrested. Then he proceeded to throw a temper tantrum all the way back to the locker room capping it off by going after fans. Just a pathetic display. I'd love to be in the Oregon locker room right now to hear what's going on.

They better take him out in a cage. After seeing that, I'd imagine he's going to get heckled leaving the stadium and is liable to go all roid-rage again.
