Goodness. It was that many? 17?!I guess if anyone wants to look at the future, I turned over my player chart tonight and we only played seven first-year players and red-shirted 17 of them.
That's good and bad I guess (to an extent).

Perhaps people are still getting over the MSU game, but it doesn't seem like a lot of Buckeye fans are really into this game yet. (Based on ticket prices, some articles and forums I've read) In my opinion, this is a very important game for NEXT YEAR. If OSU wins this game, I think there's a good chance 11-1 or 12-1 gets OSU into the 4 team playoff. Otherwise, it's win them all or be left out. Winning a BCS bowl against a team that was ranked in the top 5, most of the year, will make an impact on national perception. You want respect as a team and as a conference, you go out and beat teams that are perceived as national powers. It worked for Clemson last year, (With their win over LSU) they just couldn't follow through this year.
Fuck that 1-loss [Mark May]. Here's to another2431 (at least) game win streak!
Probably a mixture of hangover from loss and the recognition that the Clemson offense is more than a challenge for our secondary. I suspect as we get closer to January, folks will rally. Ticket sales will be interesting though.Perhaps people are still getting over the MSU game, but it doesn't seem like a lot of Buckeye fans are really into this game yet. If we repeat the past two years, it would now be 28. (Bowl game, 15 games in 2014, and up until the conference championship in 2015)
If we're gonna fantasize about what we repeat, I'd just as soon not repeat last Saturday night. Or our last two NC games. 131. Minimum.
Ask that Clemson fan has he seen what Connor Cook and MSU, one of the worst offenses in American, just did to our defense. Then ask said Clemson fan does he expect Boyd to throw for less yards than Connor Cook? I'd be shocked if Clemson threw the ball less than 50 times. From a Clemson fan:
Just run QB draws with B. Miller all game and you have nothing to worry about. Go see the Clemson-SCar game this year. 3 & 18 and they convert with QB draw everytime.
We can't stop a running QB. You guys win pretty simply IMO, I won't say it will be a blowout, but I do believe you win by 14 or so.
