Watkins scares me in this matchup. I think we will win this game though. With that said, I am amazed how negative our fan base is right now for having one loss in 2 years. For a long time we had problems on offense, now its defense. Eventually Meyer is going to field a complete team. Put me firmly in the corner with those who want new minds and philosophies on the defensive side of the ball.

This one will be a high scoring affair. Not a chance that the Ohio State defense, as currently constructed, can hold up against Clemson. The only shot that Ohio State has is if the O comes out firing and can somehow affect Clemson's game plan. There will be a ton of pressure on the offense as the D has shown that they simply can't stop an offense with a pulse.

I am truly worried about this game. I could easily see the Buckeyes sleep walking through the first half and falling behind by a ton to this Clemson team.

What gives me some confidence in this game is that it's Clemson. They can't handle adversity. Whereas this Ohio State team, despite some glaring deficiencies, never quits. The 24-win streak demonstrated that on many occasions where a Clemson or Oregon would've fell apart.
Still need to work on some things on both sides. I figure we'll probably be favorites in Vegas, but hope the media continues slamming us as they have all season.

We have a chance to go 13-1, beat the skunk bears, and win a BCS bowl. That's a damn fine season. Hopefully with the 15 practices we can sort some of our secondary issues out (play young talent IMO). Also, let's run Carlos about 65 times.

I'm really excited to see THIS team play one more game. They have overcome a ton of adversity and been fine representatives of OSU. I really hope they go out with a win.

These are my four keys to beating Clemson. Why do I have Hit Boyd on there twice? Because he doesn't like it one bit.

Boyd finishes his career throwing five interceptions and getting sacked 19 times in four games with South Carolina.

Here is a little Buckeye fact regarding our secondary.

In all 40 plays that resulted in a sack for the Buckeye defense, the secondary didn't allow a single reception.

So let me say it again...HIT BOYD!!!!

FEED THE BEAST!! If I had a dollar for every time this was posted in a BP game thread I'd be a wealthy man. I get the feeling that Clemson is going to try and act a little bit thuggish and see if they can intimidate the Buckeyes. Nothing will end this behavior faster than a steady dose of Hyde. This can, and should be a 200 yd type game for Carlos IMO.

Finally, let's talk Braxton. Nothing over the last few years has been more fun when watching Braxton than when you have no idea what he's going to do. Is he going to pass, hand it off, or take off running? I've always had a love/hate relationship with the cameraman that lost his jock while trying to keep up with the kid. Nothing I've ever seen watching Braxton has been sadder than last Saturday. Seeing him line up and knowing, hell everyone knowing, exactly what he was going to do. I'd very much like to see the dual put back into dual threat if you don't mind.

Fetish Final: 38-17 and a new streak begins.

I agree on the OSU Clemsen score, but Sparty can play with anyone this year. Their defense is the real deal. Do you have short term memory issues?

I was speaking mainly about the fact that the prediction was for Clemson to score only 13 points, and I added other picks that I thought would be mostly disagreed with, but wasn't really attempting to insinuate that they were crazy predictions as you interpreted.

But since you brought it up, I expect Stanford to win the game by 10 or so. Sparty's defense is good, yes, and Stanford is a bit overrated, but our OL handled Sparty's defensive front to the tune of >6 ypc, and Stanford should do the same. The MSU offense will not score many points against their defense. 23-13 maybe?

And FSU kills Auburn.

But maybe I just have short term memory issues, who knows?
