I'm not convinced OSU will lose.

I'm convinced the defense isn't any good.

I am convinced theyre bad also but.wanting so bad for Fickell and Co. to prove me wrong..

I'm saying Santa. There's a possibility he was drunk and overslept.

I'm starting to have anxiety about the game already and we are still 2 days away. Unless Hyde and the running game just completely run over their defense, I just can't see us slowing down their passing attack and keeping them out of the end zone. From what I have seen from this defense and scheme; poor tackling, poor safety coverage, poor LB pass drops, predictability of where blitzes are coming from, corners panic w/ their hands when out on an island, ect.... I have absolutely no confidence in them unless we drop Boyd 5-6 times (which is now unlikely w/o Spence). Their WR's have to be licking their chops.

And after going through this BCS era and watching it happen time and time again, you just never know what the mindset of these kids is going to be come game time. You have to question who is the more excited team to be there. Is OSU still sulking over their disappointing loss and missing out on a title shot or are they truly excited to be in Miami to prove they are top 5 worthy? 1st 10 mins will tell the story. If they come out in the 1st quarter and dominate like they did most of the season it bodes well. If they come out flat like in the CCG they are screwed.

Well, if they were flat for that game with a shot to play for the NC, then I can't imagine they'll be fired up on Friday night.

I truly hate feeling this way about this team.

Not this one. I'm on day 4 now and still feel like hell. Cancelled my NYE plans and just focusing on getting heathy. The flu is incredibly bad this year.

Just kicked my ass for 5 days and still not close to 100%. Sickest I've been in years!

Well, if they were flat for that game with a shot to play for the NC, then I can't imagine they'll be fired up on Friday night.

I truly hate feeling this way about this team.

Hopefully the difference is that Clemson is actually known to have an offense whereas MSU wasn't.

I am hoping the streak and all the hoopla over schedules, conference,rankings were weighing this team down, and now they are free to just go out and play Ball.

My son and I, and my friend from Chicago, are in a car about 3 hours north of Miami. We're driving 3,000 miles to support the Buckeyes and I just wanted to say that all this negativity is not productive.

It's been a great road trip so far, and I'm going to able to say I was there when we kicked some Clemson ass.

Always loved those road trips to the Florida bowls (I always did mine from Ohio). By the time we'd reach Florida, the car looked like it went through a war.

What makes you say that? Just curious. They don't have the secondary that MSU has so the mid range passing game to Fields and the TEs should be back, they struggle with mobile QBs, and have issues with bruising RBs.

ACC bowl games thus far have underlined that nobody plays Defense in that conference.
This stomach bug or flu or whatever may hold the Offense back more than Clemson ever could.
